  • Publication number: 20250353672
Abstract: A refuse vehicle can include a controller in communication with a hydraulic system of the refuse vehicle. The controller can control the hydraulic system to supply fluid power to a packer actuator of the refuse vehicle such that the packer actuator moves a packer of the refuse vehicle, determine that one or more other vehicle functions are active, and reduce the fluid power supplied to the packer actuator, while maintaining an amount of fluid power supplied to one or more components of the refuse vehicle, to adjust a load applied to the hydraulic system. The fluid power supplied to the packer actuator can be reduced by an amount without impacting a performance of the one or more components.

  • Publication number: 20250150295
Abstract: Implementations relate to an application that can bias automatic speech recognition for meetings using data that may be associated with the meeting and/or meeting participants. A transcription of inputs provided during a meeting can additionally and/or alternatively be processed to determine whether the inputs should be incorporated into a meeting document, which can provide a summary for the meeting. In some instances, entries into a meeting document can be designated as action items, and those action items can optionally have conditions for reminding meeting participants about the action items and/or for determining whether an action item has been fulfilled. In this way, various tasks that may typically be manually performed by meeting participants, such as creating a meeting summary, can be automated in a more accurate manner. This can preserve resources that may otherwise be wasted during video conferences, in-person meetings, and/or other gatherings.

  • Publication number: 20250033875
Abstract: A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a body supported on to the chassis, a front bumper, a lift arm assembly selectively movable between a raised position and a lowered position, a fork tube coupled to the lift arm assembly and including a pair of bump plates, and a lateral stabilizer assembly. The lateral stabilizer assembly includes a backer plate coupled to the front bumper and a pivotal arm coupled to the backer plate and including a curved down stop arranged at an end of the pivotal arm. When the lift arm assembly moves from the raised position to the lowered position, the fork tube engages the pivotal arm and the pivotal arm pivots toward the backer plate. When the fork tube engages the pivotal arm, engagement between the pivotal arm and the pair of bump plates limits lateral movement of the fork tube.

  • Publication number: 20240166435

  • Patent number: 11926474
Abstract: A refuse vehicle includes a body defining a storage compartment, a packer, a hydraulic system, a pressure sensor, and a controller. The hydraulic system includes a first pump and a second pump are configured to supply fluid power to a packer actuator. The packer actuator is coupled to the packer and the body and is positioned to move the packer to compact refuse within the storage compartment. The pressure sensor indicates a measured pressure a first fluid associated with the first pump or a second fluid associated with the second pump. The controller is configured to control the hydraulic system to supply fluid power to the packer actuator to move the packer. The controller is further configured to determine that (a) one or more other vehicle functions are active or (b) the measured pressure exceeds a threshold pressure. The controller is further configured to reduce the fluid power supplied to the packer actuator in response to the determination.
