Abstract: A garment includes an inner portion, an outer portion, and at least one fastener. The outer portion surrounds the inner portion and is at least partially fixed to the inner portion. The at least one fastener is configured to detachably connect one or more of a first side of the outer portion with a second side of the outer portion or a first side of the outer portion to the inner portion to cause the outer portion to be in a closed position with respect to the inner portion. The outer portion is configured to be movable from the closed position to an open position with respect to the inner portion to facilitate a positioning of a vehicle restraint over the inner portion while the garment is being worn by a vehicle occupant.
