  • Publication number: 20170206581
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes accessing web page content for a product, the web page content comprising text tokens for at least two different fields of a web page that is displayed to convey information about the product. Respective weights of each field of the web page are retrieved and are used with the text tokens of each field to generate a product vector, where each unique text token provides a dimension of the product vector and the weights are used to provide a weight for each dimension. The product vector is used to identify products to recommend to a user and a user interface is displayed showing the identified products.

  • Publication number: 20170206582
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes determining a similarity score for a product by determining a similarity between a product vector for a product and a user vector for a user, determining a recency score for the product based on a date the product was made available at a retailer, and determining collaborative filtering score for the product based on the likelihood that people who bought another product would also buy the product. The similarity score, the recency score and the collaborative filtering score are combined to generate a total score for the product. Based on the total score for the product, a user interface is generated to recommend the product to the user.

  • Publication number: 20170206583
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes generating a first list of products to recommend to a user. The following steps are then repeated: removing a first product from the first list and placing the first product in a second list wherein the order of the products in the second list determines the order that products appear on a user interface; and comparing each remaining product in the first list to the product placed on the second list and moving products that are similar to the product placed on the second list further down in the first list. A user interface is then generated from the second list to show suggested products to a user.

  • Publication number: 20070075128
Abstract: Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology in a data management scheme that combines both distributed as well as a hierarchical (object-oriented) data management structure. The hierarchical databases will store data records such that each or selected entities of the record will be associated with a pointer that can be written into an RFID tag of an item as the item progresses through manufacturing, production, transportation, and consumer user, for example. Thereafter, once the RFID tag is read, the pointer information can be processed to directly access the data in the database associated with the pointer.

  • Publication number: 20070055470
Abstract: An RFID reader and/or writer module in an industrial controller (e.g., PLC). The RFID module interfaces internally to the controller for tight integration therewith. The RFID module can also be part of a controller communications framework and as a standalone module with the PLC as a master device, and interact with the RFID module in the same manner as it interacts with other I/O devices connected to the controller. In another aspect, RFID read/write tag technology is incorporated into some or all major PLC and rack components, and utilized for wireless communication both between PLC system components and between the PLC and other devices, locations, and media. The RFID tag can be used to store and exchange electronic keying data, security information, module diagnostics and warranty information, series and revision levels code, I/O configuration data, and, replacement data. Artificial intelligence is also employed.

  • Publication number: 20070027962
Abstract: Data exchanged between at least one server and at least one user is intercepted in a capturing module that operates independently from the server and the user. A copy of the intercepted data is stored in a database. The intercepted data that is destined for the server is forwarded to the server, or the intercepted data that is destined for the user is forwarded to the user. The intercepting and storing are performed transparently to the user. Interception of data may be performed continuously, and storing of data may be performed during a predetermined time window or at predetermined time intervals. The intercepted data may include events, attributes, images, user identifications, requests, and/or responses. Only a predetermined portion of the data and/or data that satisfies predefined rules is stored. The user may be a web server or a web browser, and the server may be a web server. The data may be exchanged in the form of an Internet protocol and assembled into a web page view for the user.
