  • Patent number: 4966504
Abstract: An electrode tip dresser which is comprised of a pair of interlocking cutter blades. A rotatable holder is provided for assisting in securing the blades to each other. A clamping mechanism is provided to releasably secure both the blades and the rotatable holder in such a manner that they may be driven by a power source. The blades, when interlocked, expose two cutting and two burnishing edges on each side of the holder and blade assembly. The clamping mechanism is designed to lock the holder and blade assembly in place for rotation by employing a locking cam clamp which is engaged when a toggle is overthrown.

  • Patent number: 4203700
Abstract: An articulating, part handling device to vary the orientation of the part carried thereby includes a carriage having a vacuum system positively to retain the properly located part thereon during handling. Such carriage is slidably mounted for selective reciprocal movement along the distal member of an articulating arm assembly, which is proximally pivotally mounted to a fixed supporting frame. The part handling device includes an actuating system to provide relative pivotal movement between the articulating arm assembly and frame and between the respective members of the articulating arm assembly and also to provide the relative axial movement between the carriage and distal arm, whereby the orientation of the carried part may be varied as required by the handling environment.

  • Patent number: RE30324
Abstract: A letter and number kit for use in preparing signs or names and addresses including street numbers. The kit consists of a packet of thin metal plates, each having upper and lower longitudinally and transversely extending score lines to provide segments having a blank on one or both faces or a letter, number, or punctuation mark on one or both faces of each segment. The number of letters in the kit may be varied. Primary letters of the alphabet which are used more frequently than other letters are present in the kit in a greater number than secondary letters which in turn are present in the kit in a greater number than tertiary letters. For instance, in comparatively large kits from approximately eight to eleven of each of the primary letters, from six to seven of each of the secondary letters and from approximately two to five of each of the tertiary letters may be present.
