Abstract: According to the invention a vehicle has a panel with an opening through which an air bag is deployed. An air bag deployment door closes the opening in the panel. Upon air bag deployment, the door is forcibly moved out of the opening from a closed position towards an open position by the deploying air bag. A hinge for the deployment door includes a door hinge element carried by the door, and a vehicle hinge element carried by the vehicle. The separate hinge elements have cooperating hinge-forming features which are spaced apart from one another when the door is in the closed position. Upon air bag deployment, the door begins to lift out of the opening and carries the door hinge element into engagement with the vehicle hinge element to hingedly interconnect the cooperating hinge-forming features, thereby anchoring the door to the vehicle and limiting further movement of the door to rotation about an axis defined by the hinge elements.

Abstract: An emergency distress signal, including a substantially "s" shaped channel member, with one leg of the channel being insertable over the side glass of an automotive vehicle, to be entraped between the side glass and the window channel, and the other leg of the "s" shaped channel member holding, in combination with a rod locater means, a collapsible flagstaff having an emergency distress flag attached thereto. The emergency distress signal is collapsible and self storing.

Abstract: There is disclosed a gutter drain strip having a platform portion with a plurality of drain holes provided therein, and a pair of legs downwardly depending from said platform portion to provide for mounting of the gutter drain strip in a gutter. A gutter draining and flushing system using said gutter drain strip is also shown, where the legs thereof are severed at a predetermined desired position, permitting a portion of the gutter drain strip to be bent at a right angle and fit up against an end wall of the gutter to accept a hose for the purposes of flushing the gutter.

Abstract: The specification discloses a disposable toothbrush with a self-contained toothpaste supply comprising a transparent handle section and an adjustable brush head having upstanding bristles secured thereto.The transparent cylindrical handle section is hollow and contains the dentifrice material, which is discharged into the adjustable head section when the handle section is compressed. The quantity of discharge of the dentifrice material can be easily measured and judged by the graduation marks placed on the handle. The adjustable brush head has a discharge opening for ejecting the dentifrice material between the bristles when the cylindrical transparent handle section is compressed. The adjustable brush head is capable of being closed so that premature or accidental discharge of the dentifrice material while either in storage or in use does not occur.
