Abstract: The disclosure describes assemblies, systems, and techniques for reinforcing complex geometries of pressure vessels using a pre-sintered preform (PSP) braze material that includes a low-melt powder and a high-melt powder. An example technique includes positioning a PSP reinforcement on a surface of a substrate. The technique includes heating the PSP reinforcement to soften or melt at least one constituent metal or alloy of the low-melt powder. During heating, the PSP reinforcement is configured to conform to a contour of the surface of the substrate. The technique also includes cooling the PSP reinforcement to define a reinforced component.

Abstract: One embodiment comprises a fairing assembly adapted to couple to a vehicle, the assembly comprising: a support arm mountable to a frame rail of a vehicle and a fairing adapter adapted to mount a fairing to the support arm. The fairing adapter is rotatably coupled to the support arm and is rotatable from a first orientation corresponding to an aerodynamic position to a second orientation corresponding to a first access position. The fairing adapter may also be rotatable to a third orientation corresponding to a second access position. The assembly further comprises a releasable lock to lock the fairing adapter in the first orientation and releasable to allow the fairing adapter to rotate to the second orientation or the third orientation.

The first video segment is different from the second video segment. The method also includes on-the-fly and gaplessly stitching together first content derived from the first video segment with second content derived from the second video segment to form a stitched together file. The method further includes transmitting a playable video derived from the stitched together file to the end user video player. The method further includes inserting the playable video derived from the stitched together file into a break in a program running on the end user video player, and playing the playable video on the end user video player.

Abstract: A clutch assembly includes a clutch mechanism and an energy harvesting device. The clutch mechanism includes an input member, an output member, and an actuating mechanism to govern selective torque transmission from the input member to the output member. The actuating mechanism is powered by electrical current. The energy harvesting device is electrically connected to the actuating mechanism, and the energy harvesting device is configured to scavenge available energy to generate the electrical current that powers the actuating mechanism.

Abstract: A system for testing an integrated-circuit wafer, the system including a probe card having a probe needle and a probe body enclosing a pressure chamber. The probe body includes a unitary sidewall, a first end cap substantially closing a first end of the probe body, except for an outlet passage in the first end cap, and an inlet passage configured to introduce compressed gas into the pressure chamber. The probe needle is within the pressure chamber and is supported by the probe body. A free end of the probe needle extends through the outlet passage. The ends of the probe needle are separated by a first bend in the probe needle, which has a center of curvature that is located between the probe needle and a longitudinal centerline of the unitary sidewall. Methods of using a probe card are also disclosed.

The sensing cannula system can differentiate when the cannula tip is in adipose tissue or muscle based on electrical impedance. The system can be used in fat grafting and liposuction procedures, for example. An operator can detect if the cannula tip enters muscle by watching for an indicator light or audible alarm that is automatically activated by the device based on a change in sensed impedance. The device may also stop the flow of fat through a pump halting injection into the sub-muscular space.

Also disclosed are methods of making the paint detackifier compositions and methods of using the paint detackifier compositions. The detackifier may be made from cationized starch and sodium aluminate. The starch can be wheat starch, corn starch, tapioca starch, potato starch, rice starch, sweet potato starch, sago starch, mung bean starch, arrowroot starch, and any combination thereof.
