    Abstract: A process is disclosed for removing aromatics, and volatile organic hydrocarbons from a gaseous fluid stream including passing the fluid stream in contact with a dehydrating composition comprising a glycol selected from triethylene glycol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, or mixtures thereof and a hydrocarbon solubility depressant. The dehydrating composition may also contain a dissolved salt including at least one alkali metal carboxylate, an ammonium carboxylate, an alkali metal halide, an ammonium halide, or a mixtures thereof.
