  • Publication number: 20230201016
Abstract: A wearable undergarment with removable pads designed in a modular configuration customized to the user by an attending physician. Undergarment provides gradual mechanical realignment and pain relief for injury to the coccyx resulting in coccydynia. Customized modular pads provide the user with variable compression, particularly underneath the buttocks and surrounding region while sitting.

  • Publication number: 20220347444
Abstract: A method and apparatus for treating a synovial cyst is disclosed. The method includes determining a presence and location of a cyst within a body, penetrating the cyst through a penetration bore to release a synovial fluid accumulation from within the cyst. A suction is applied to the cyst to via the penetration bore to extract a volume of the fluid accumulation from within the cyst. A weeping tube is inserted in the penetration bore to communicate synovial fluid from the cyst to maintain the cyst in a depressed condition for a predetermined temporal period. The weeping tube an external sidewall and an interior channel configured to communicate a synovial fluid from the synovial cyst. A plurality of protrusions about the external sidewall engage with a body tissue surrounding a penetration bore in the body tissue to retain the weeping tube at a desired placement within the penetration bore.

  • Patent number: 4656313
Abstract: A method, and apparatus for practicing the method, is provided for the transit of one or more cables through an opening in a bulkhead while preventing electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic pulse energy from passing through the opening. A housing of electrically conductive material is positioned in the opening and secured around its full perimeter in electrically conductive contact with the bulkhead. The sheathing of each cable is treated so that the conductive shield of each cable is exposed. The cables pass through the housing with their exposed shield being within the interior of the housing. The end portions of the housing are sealed, such as by the use of deformable material. Electrically conductive material, such as shot, granules, powder, grease, liquids or the like, is used to fill the interior of the housing to form conductive paths between the shield of each cable and the housing. The material may be in the form of particulates, semi-liquid, or liquid, including conductive coatings.
