Abstract: A wearable article is provided as a wearable component of a medical device configured with elements to accommodate electrode pads in a manner that offers flexibility, cushion, and temperature regulation for comfort of a patient, as well as facilitating distribution of pressure on the electrode pads against the body of the patient. A containment portion of the wearable article houses the electrode pad and a spacer structure. The spacer structure is flexible to move as the body of the patient moves and yet provides a level of stiffness for pressure on the underlying electrode. Numerous springy elements dispersed in the spacer structure provide a thickness and open space for air circulation through the spacer structure, resulting in temperature regulation of the wearable article.

Abstract: A ruggedized adjustable mounting system is described for adjustably coupling and selectively locking a component supported in a fixture of the mount in a desired orientation. In some embodiments, the mounting system includes one or more kinematic couplings that support a fixture on a base and one or more adjustable couplings that are configured to adjust a separation distance between two opposing portions of the fixture and the base to selectively pivot the fixture about one or more axes of rotation.

Abstract: In embodiments, a Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD) system includes a support structure for the patient to wear, and components that the support structure maintains on the patient's body. The components include a defibrillator, associated electrodes, and so on. The defibrillator can operate in a WCD mode while the patient wears the support structure. The defibrillator can further operate in a different, AED mode, during which time the patient need not wear a portion of the support structure, or even the entire support structure. Sometimes the AED mode is a type of a fully automatic AED mode. Other times the AED mode is a type of a semi-automated AED mode, where an attendant is present to administer the shock; at such times, the patient may not even need to have electrodes attached. This way the patient is more comfortable for a longer time.

The other card in the set of two (2) has a blank side to place the removable strips that characterize each participant. On the reverse side of this card is printed the workplace environment that most appeals to a person of this particular style. Each card has a place for a simple score, (i.e. a simple sum of the characteristics chosen). The color-coded cards are ordered numerically. The Extravert-Introvert (E-I) card is also scored. Participants are asked to place color-coded dots representing each participant's particular order of styles on their nametags.
