Publication number: 20210365580Abstract: Systems, methods, and manufactures for enhancing the determination of differential privacy query results. A computer implemented method for enhancing the determination of differential privacy query results is provided. The computer implemented method includes obtaining a first query of a database, determining a query result by executing the first query on the database, determining a noisy result by adding noise to the query result, wherein the noise is determined based on a first statistical evaluation of the first query, determining a first hash value identifying the first query based on one or more of the first statistical evaluation and a second statistical evaluation of the first query, maintaining the noisy result linked to the first hash value in a result cache, and returning the noisy result from the result cache in response to a subsequent query when a second hash value identifying the subsequent query is determined to be statistically similar to the first hash value.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2021Publication date: November 25, 2021Inventors: James Leonard Klucar, JR., Kyle Lilly, Joseph Regensburger, Steven Touw

Patent number: 11113413Abstract: Systems, methods, and manufactures for enhancing the determination of differential privacy query results. Implementations may include a database; a result cache; a processor; and a media storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the system to perform operations that include obtaining a query of the database; determining that a specificity of the query exceeds a specificity threshold; determining that the result cache lacks any query results of previous queries that are substantially equivalent to the query; partitioning the database into a plurality of groups; determining a query result by executing the query on the plurality of groups; determining a sensitivity of the query and a nominal measurement of the query; determining a noisy result by adding noise to the query result based on the sensitivity and the nominal measurement; storing the noisy result in the result cache; and providing the noisy result in response to the query.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2018Date of Patent: September 7, 2021Assignee: IMMUTA, INC.Inventors: James Leonard Klucar, Jr., Kyle Lilly, Joseph Regensburger, Steven Touw

Publication number: 20150120623Abstract: A covariance-clustering algorithm for partitioning a graph into sub-graphs (clusters) using variations of the pseudo-inverse of the Laplacian matrix (A) associated with the graph. The algorithm does not require the number of clusters as an input parameter and, considering the covariance of the Markov field associated with the graph, algorithm finds sub-graphs characterized by a within-cluster covariance larger than an across-clusters covariance. The covariance-clustering algorithm is applied to a semantic graph representing the simulated evidence of multiple events.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 29, 2013Publication date: April 30, 2015Inventors: Michele Morara, Steven W. Patent number: 4209049Abstract: There is disclosed in the present application a traction device adapted to being mounted on a driving wheel tire of a vehicle for obtaining greater traction on ice or snow although the device may also be useful in certain types of mud. The device comprises four spring arms each including a textured traction portion positioned across the face of the tire tread. The device is quickly mounted over the tire by collapsing and spreading apart the tread portions to permit bringing the device into engagement with the tire from a radial direction. The four arms in two pairs are then disposed at right angles to each other and are thereafter simultaneously tightened into embracing generally equally spaced relationship with the tire by turning a spring loaded crank.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 1978Date of Patent: June 24, 1980Assignee: Alpine Industries, Inc.Inventor: Joseph Regensburger
