  • Patent number: 7605064
Abstract: A method of manufacture for semiconductor electronic products and a circuit structure. A semiconductor material has a surface region and dopant is provided to a portion of the surface region. The portion of the surface region provided with the dopant is irradiated with sufficient energy to induce diffusion of the dopant from the portion of the surface region to another region of the semiconductor material. A method for manufacturing an electronic product with a semiconductor material having a surface and two spaced-apart regions along the surface for receiving dopant includes forming a field effect transistor gate structure is along the surface and over a third region of the surface between the two spaced-apart regions. Dopant is provided to the spaced-apart regions which are heated to a temperature at least 50 degrees C. higher than the peak temperature which results in the third region when the spaced-apart regions are heated.

  • Patent number: 7516707
Abstract: A portable shelf includes a planar shelf surface, a cleat, and a strap secured to the cleat. The cleat has a first end connected to a rear edge of the shelf surface and a distal second end. The cleat may either be integrally formed with the shelf surface, or pivotally connected thereto. The cleat is substantially perpendicular to the shelf surface in an open position. The strap forms a continuous loop for encircling a support post. The strap is tightenable against the support post, thereby securing the cleat to the support post.

  • Patent number: 7376419
Abstract: An originating mobile switching center of an apparatus in one example handles one or more calls. A serving mobile switching center for a communication device on a call of the one or more calls passes control of the call to the originating mobile switching center. The originating mobile switching center triggers the call to a service node. The service node sends an initial trigger response to the originating mobile switching center that instructs the originating mobile switching center to redirect the call. The initial trigger response arms one or more triggers that support one or more services for the communication device. The one or more triggers comprise one or more of one or more switch based triggers and one or more subscriber based triggers exclusive of Calling_Routing_Addresss_Available, OAnswer, and ODisconnect triggers.

  • Patent number: 7340049
Abstract: An apparatus in one example comprises one or more intelligent network platforms that serve to provide feedback to be played to a calling communication device during a call from the calling communication device for a called communication device. One or more of the one or more intelligent network platforms allow a user of the called communication device to preselect one or more portions of the feedback. One or more of the one or more intelligent network platforms employ signaling to connect the call from the calling communication device to an intelligent network platform of the one or more intelligent network platforms.

  • Patent number: 6978133
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing wireless intelligent network services to mobile stations currently being served by a mobile switching center (S-MSC) that is not wireless intelligent network capable. The call is routed through a wireless intelligent network capable MSC (O-MSC). When the O-MSC receives the call, it requests instructions from a service control point (SCP) which provides a list of triggers for call states requiring further SCP instructions. Advantageously, this arrangement avoids the use of a double connection, using a loop-around trunk, in the O-MSC, as is required in the prior art.

  • Patent number: 6920326
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for restricting call terminations for a roaming mobile unit. A serving MSC, which is an MSC providing call processing a mobile unit that is not the home MSC of the mobile unit, sends a registration notification request to the home location register (HLR). The HLR retrieves the termination access code parameter from the HLR and sends it to the serving MSC. The termination access code parameter includes a value that indicates if the mobile unit is allowed to roamer port calls. The parameter is stored at a VLR associated with the serving MSC. When a call request comes in to the serving MSC and requests a roamer port call with the mobile unit, the serving MSC checks the value of the termination restriction code to determine if it should terminate, or complete, the call.

  • Patent number: 6174807
Abstract: A method of forming a multi-layered dual-doped polysilicon structure that minimizes Boron penetration into the n+ polysilicon during formation of the p+ polysilicon. The method of the present invention also reduces the migration of Boron (p+ gate dopant) from the p+ polysilicon and the migration of Arsenic and/or Phosphorous (n+ gate dopant) from the n+ polysilicon during subsequent fabrication processing steps. The present invention is also directed to a semiconductor device having a gate dopant barrier that minimizes gate dopant penetration and migration.

  • Patent number: 5969429
Abstract: An electrical power supply arrangement incorporates a turbine-generator ambly providing a self-contained non-battery electrical power source for supplying power to a breathing apparatus. The turbine-generator assembly is interposed in an air hose extending between first and second stage pressure regulators respectively connected to a pressurized air cylinder and to a cooling device of the breathing apparatus. The assembly includes an air turbine and an electrical generator disposed and coupled in tandem relationship to one another and enclosed in an elongated hollow housing. Pressurized air introduced into the turbine end of the housing expands across turbine blades and rotatably drives a central shaft of the turbine which, in turn, rotates a central rotor of the generator causing generation of electrical power in a stationary stator of the generator which surrounds the rotor.

  • Patent number: 5825073
Abstract: A method for making a metal-to-metal capacitor for an integrated circuit includes forming a layer of titanium/titanium nitride on a polysilicon which has been patterned with interlevel dielectrics. A capacitor dielectric is then deposited, followed by patterning with photoresist to delineate the capacitor, etching to remove extraneous dielectric, deposition of aluminum, further patterning and etching to define the capacitor and access area, and removal of photoresist.

  • Patent number: 5809998
Abstract: An insulation jacket is provided for a breathing gas device. A first jacket ortion wraps completely about the device's cylinder and gas delivery valve. A second jacket portion wraps about a high-pressure regulator coupled in-line with the gas delivery valve and a plurality of gas delivery conduits extending from the high-pressure regulator. The first and second jacket portions are formed from a flexible insulating material of laminate construction. A plurality of fastening strips, e.g., hook-and-loop fastening strips, cooperate with first and second jacket portions after they are wrapped about the respective portions of the breathing gas device.

  • Patent number: 5761909
Abstract: A device is provided for modifying the temperature of a breathing or other as supplied through a conduit. A heat exchanger is mounted in-line with the conduit. A thermoelectric device has first and second thermally conductive plates separated by at least one thermoelectric couple. The first thermally conductive plate is in thermal contact with the heat exchanger. A phase change material is in thermal contact with the second thermally conductive plate. A voltage is applied to the thermoelectric couple(s) to maintain the first and second thermally conductive plates at different temperatures. The phase change material changes from a first phase to a second phase at a phase change temperature that is selected to be between the different temperatures of the first and second thermally conductive plates.

  • Patent number: 5662161
Abstract: A breathing gas cooling and heating device. Warm breathing gas enters the it which consists of a heat exchanger mounted in an insulated shell and runs through the heat exchanger tubes. These tubes are in intimate thermal contact with micro-encapsulated phase change materials. The micro-encapsulated phase change material changes phase from solid to liquid, thereby absorbing heat at the temperature of the phase change material, and thereby cooling the gas flowing through the heat exchanger. In situations where heating of the breathing gas is desired, the gas stream absorbs heat from the phase change material. The unit is rechargeable for chilling applications after usage by placing the device in an ambient environment less than the temperature of the phase change of the material or by replacing the phase change material. It is rechargeable for heating applications by warming the device to a temperature above that of the phase change material.
