  • Publication number: 20240019226
Abstract: Stock adapters for firearms have a first adapter portion having a firearm interface configured to removably connect to the stock interface of the firearm, the first adapter portion having a quick detach first adapter interface, a second adapter portion having a stock interface configured to removably connect to the firearm interface of the stock, the second adapter portion having a quick detach second adapter interface configured to removably connect to the firearm interface of the stock, and the first and second adapter interfaces being removably joined in an abutting condition, and when in the abutting condition relatively rotatable between an unlocked condition in which the first and second adapter interfaces are axially separable, and a locked condition in which the first and second adapter interfaces are axially inseparable. The first and second adapter interfaces may be rotationally aligned to rotationally interface about the barrel axis.

  • Patent number: 7178462
Abstract: A projectile includes members that deploy upon impact with a target. The projectile includes a nose piece with a portion that shears off upon impact with the target, causing the nose piece to be pushed inside the projectile. As the nose piece is pushed inside the projectile, the nose piece pushes on members that deploy outwardly and lock into place, thereby greatly increasing the damage done to the target. The projectile is easily assembled by placing the two members through an axial cylindrical hole into slots, then placing the nose piece into the axial cylindrical hole. The deployable members are held within the body of the projectile in flight, and only deploy when the projectile strikes a target, greatly increasing the damage to the target.

  • Patent number: 6227928
Abstract: A fixture, process and kit allow a user to construct game calls at home with little effort and at low cost. A kit that includes the fixture, call frames, and reeds provides the materials a person needs to construct game calls to custom specifications. The fixture includes a base block that is placed on a flat surface, such as a table. The base block includes a reed recess where one or more reeds are placed flat, one atop the other. Once the reed or reeds are in place, clamps are used to secure each end of the reed or reeds to the base block. Once the ends are secure, a tensioning rod is used to stretch the reed or reeds to the desired tension. Once the reed or reeds are to the desired tension, the bottom portion of a call frame is inserted into a frame recess in the base block by sliding the call frame under the reed or reeds.
