  • Publication number: 20190022343
Abstract: Aspects of the present technology comprise a positioning and stabilising structure to hold a seal-forming structure in a therapeutically effective position on a head of a patient. The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise at least one gas delivery tube to deliver the flow of air to the entrance of a patient's airways via the seal-forming structure. The at least one gas delivery tube may be constructed and arranged to contact, in use, at least a region of the patient's head superior to an otobasion superior of the patient's head. The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise an adjustment mechanism for adjustment of a length of the at least one gas delivery tube to enable the positioning and stabilising structure to fit different size heads.

  • Publication number: 20180350121
Abstract: Techniques of preserving annotation relationships are disclosed. The techniques are used a presentation system comprising at least one display, at least one processor coupled to the display, and a memory storing instructions, the instructions comprising instructions executable by the processor to display content on the display based on a content location, receive an annotation, group the annotation into an annotation group, determine the annotation group is related to the content based on the location of the annotation group and the content location, associate the annotation group with the content based on the determination, receive an indication of a change in the content location of the content, adjust the annotation group based on the change in the content location of the content, and display content based on the change in the content location and the adjusted annotation group.

  • Publication number: 20180349014
Abstract: A presentation system capable of detecting one or more gestures and contacts on a touch sensitive display. The presentation system can displaying indicia of such contacts, such as when a user writes with a fingertip, and can remove or alter such indicia responsive to other gestures and contacts. The system can accurately distinguish between types of gestures detected, such as between a writing gesture and an erasing gesture, on both large and small touch sensitive displays, thereby obviating the need for a user to make additional selective inputs to transition from one type of gesture to another.

  • Patent number: 10145789
Abstract: A device for measuring the absolute value of the refractive index of a liquid by immersion uses the optical properties of a cylindrical waveguide with a solid core and normal angle of incidence of the light source. The device consists of a transparent tube forming the enclosure of the waveguide, impervious to the surrounding liquid and partially filled with a transparent solid or liquid material of appropriate index of refraction, a fiber optic means of inputting light via a LED or laser and fiber optic means of coupling emerging light to a photodetector. The emerging light intensity is a function of the index of refraction of the surrounding liquid.

  • Patent number: 9833591
Abstract: A flow interrupter for gas flow delivered by a delivery conduit in a respiratory treatment system permits temporary interruption of flow in the conduit. Typically, the apparatus has a passage to conduct a breathable gas. The passage traverses through a flexible wall such as a stretchable sleeve. The flexible wall may include a first and second ends. A manipulator may be attached to the flexible wall. The flexible wall sleeve may be adapted to twistably collapse between the first and second ends so as to reduce the passage of the channel by operation of the manipulator. The flow interrupter may be formed with a swivel and operation of the sleeve may be implemented by rotation of the swivel. Sufficient rotation of such a swivel may form a vortex closure of material to close the channel. Release of the manipulator may then permit unwinding of the vortex closure, re-opening the channel.
