  • Patent number: 11911569
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an immersive distraction apparatus including an attachment portion including an engagement element and a front plate having two cut outs fitting lenses therein and a base portion coupled with the attachment portion having a display aperture sized to receive a device. The immersive distraction apparatus mountable on a surgical head frame using one or more connectors such that an immersive distraction therapy can be provided to a patient undergoing surgery via a virtual reality environment.

  • Patent number: 11872724
Abstract: A system includes a source, a detector, and a controller. The source is configured to emit electromagnetic energy toward two plies of film. A portion of the emitted electromagnetic energy is within a range of wavelengths. The detector is arranged to detect electromagnetic energy propagating away from the two plies of film. The detector detects electromagnetic energy within the range of wavelengths and generates signals indicative of intensity of detected electromagnetic energy. The controller controls operation of the foam-in-bag system based the signals from the detector. The film is transmissive of electromagnetic energy in the range of wavelengths. When dispensed between the two plies of film, one or both of foaming chemical precursors or foam formed from a reaction thereof is opaque to electromagnetic energy in the range of wavelengths.

  • Publication number: 20230191059
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an endotracheal tube cuff having a first layer, a second layer, and one or more sensors in a space between the first and second layers. The one or more sensors are operable to measure pressure between the endotracheal tube cuff and a tracheal wall of a patient. Also disclosed herein are methods of detecting a leak and preventing ischemia using the endotracheal tube cuff.

  • Publication number: 20230165520
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for non-invasively predicting a hemodynamic state and/or an anesthetic depth of a patient, such as a pediatric patient. The method may include receiving a peripheral venous pressure (PVP) waveform from the patient, cleaning the PVP waveform, transforming the PVP waveform into the frequency domain, and automatically predicting the hemodynamic state and/or the anesthetic depth of the patient.

  • Patent number: 10838791
Abstract: A system and method predicts events in a computer system. The system and method includes a controller that receives a crash profile. The controller generates granular information that identifies data indicative of a potential server cluster failure in an enterprise system without needing to identify an originating cause of the potential server cluster failure. The system and method trains a model by sampling portions of a profile that may include directives and data indicative of a normal operating state and a conditioned preamble operating state. The system and method provides a trained model to a prediction engine. The system and method modifies an allocation of computing resources in response to the prediction of the potential server cluster failure by the prediction engine monitoring one or more servers of a server cluster.
