  • Publication number: 20260073039
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for improving endpoint device security. An agent deployed to the endpoint device may inject monitoring code into a program during runtime of the program. The monitoring code instructs the program to generate runtime telemetry data. The agent may detect behavior indicative of a security risk based on the runtime telemetry data. The agent may automatically perform at least one remedial action of a plurality of remedial actions, wherein the plurality of remedial actions comprises: notifying a user of the endpoint device of the behavior indicative of the security risk, terminating the program, blocking one or more functions of the program, and reporting the behavior indicative of the security risk to a server system.

  • Patent number: 12031773
Abstract: The device includes a disk having a central aperture therethrough, wherein the disk defines an interior volume about the central aperture. The disk is dimensioned to partition a cooler into an upper compartment and a lower compartment. A regulator includes an upper portion and a lower portion, wherein the lower portion is removably securable within the central aperture. An opening is disposed within the upper portion and is in fluid communication with a channel extending through the regulator. An elongated rod having an upper end opposite a lower end is removably securable to the upper portion of the regulator. A platform is disposed on the upper end of the elongated rod.

  • Patent number: 7575820
Abstract: Values for baseline write current and/or kick amplitudes from the baseline are determined for each head for each disk sector it writes and stored in a table. The values are determined so as to achieve a desired overwrite level. During operation, the values are looked up and applied to the heads depending on the particular sector being written. The values may be dynamically varied for temperature deviations from a baseline value.

  • Publication number: 20060146433
Abstract: A method for determining a write inhibit threshold value for at least one head of a file during the file manufacturing process is disclosed. The method includes qualifying a test track for use in the determining of the write inhibit threshold value. The method further includes performing a write inhibit threshold determination process to obtain the write inhibit threshold value and then storing the write inhibit threshold value for use with the at least one head of the file.

  • Publication number: 20060114587
Abstract: A method is presented for writing data to a surface of a magnetic disk in a disk drive. The method includes determining a number of sector groups into which sectors of the data to be written will be grouped, loading registers with current values, kick-latching values, and precompensation values for each of said sector groups, and applying the current values, kick-latching values, and precompensation values for each of the sector groups to the write head while writing data to the sector groups of the recording media.

  • Patent number: 3935945
Abstract: A nail constructed with conventional heading equipment with an open-sided partially circular head having a recess along the open-sided edge thereof to permit burr growth without interfering with the interengagement of a downwardly facing abutment surface of the head with a mating top surface abutment area when a plurality of such nails is collated and secured in an angle stick package with the shanks and heads of adjacent nails in abutting relation.
