    Abstract: Vertical semiconductor devices with deep wells and associated fabrication methods are disclosed herein. A disclosed process for forming a semiconductor device includes forming, on a drift region having a first conductivity type, a deep well region for the semiconductor device. The deep well region can be formed by an implant. The deep well region has a second conductivity type. The deep well region of the second conductivity type leaves a portion of the surface of the drift region exposed. The process also includes epitaxially forming a semiconductor region that extends from the surface of the drift region to above the deep well region for the semiconductor device. The semiconductor region can be used as at least a part of the main operational current path of the semiconductor device when the semiconductor device is finished and is devoid of implant damage from the implant.

    Abstract: An electronic instrument 4 includes a first cymbal 11comprising metal. The first cymbal 11 is electrically conductive. Furthermore, the electronic instrument 4 includes a capacitance-type touch sensor 43, and the first cymbal 11 is used as a touch electrode of the touch sensor 43. Thus, when a performer with capacitance touches the first cymbal 11, the line-to-ground capacitance of the first cymbal 11 changes, and a signal corresponding to the change in line-to-ground capacitance is output from the touch sensor 43. Therefore, when the performer touches the first cymbal 11 in the same manner as when muting a conventional cymbal, a signal indicating mute can be output from the touch sensor 43.

    Abstract: An X-ray imaging system and a method thereof are provided. In one or more embodiments, the imaging system includes an X-ray detector having neuromorphic X-ray pixels that can be combined with integrating pixels in a single hybrid detector package. The X-ray detector may generate two types of datasets (e.g., output data streams), one of integrating keyframes, the other an asynchronous event stream of intensity changes. In one or more embodiments, the method may include detecting X-rays from an imageable event using the X-ray detector, generating the two types of datasets based on the detected X-rays, and reconstructing one or more images of the imageable event based on the two types of generated datasets. By utilizing artificial intelligence/machine learning, these datasets may be combined to generate novel x-ray imaging modes that include deblurred high dynamic range real-time frame sequences or a high-speed, high dynamic range frame sequence for subsequent viewing.

The plunger is operable between at-rest and actuated positions within the sealed cavity and includes upper and lower magnetic members disposed at opposite ends of the plunger member. The plunger member moves to the actuated position as the latch mechanism moves to the latched position due to a repulsion force between the first magnetic member and the upper magnetic member, and further wherein the lower magnetic member moves into the lower portion of the sealed cavity as the latch mechanism moves to the latched position.
