  • Publication number: 20240388622
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device including a processing system that evaluates a need for additional data streaming resources at the device, and determines that a set of cooperating devices, located within a predetermined distance, is configured for sharing data streaming resources. The device receives the requested data from the cooperating devices in simultaneous streams, each stream including a segment of the requested data. The data source sends the requested data in parallel streams to the set of cooperating devices respectively, in accordance with addresses provided to the data source for each of the cooperating devices. The processing system assembles the requested data from the simultaneous streams. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12150034
Abstract: Prioritization and selection of signals and associated cells can be managed. User equipment module (UEM) of user equipment (UE) can determine a context associated with a communication session based on analyzing usage behavior information relating to usage behavior, and profile information relating to a profile, associated with the UE. The profile information can be determined by a core module based on information relating to the network or previous communication sessions. Based on analysis results, including context, UEM can determine a characteristic, other than signal strength, that can be more heavily weighted over other characteristics associated with UE or network to facilitate determining which cell, of a cell group, the UE is to connect to for the communication session. UEM can determine and select the cell of the cell group to which the UE is to connect, based on the context and the highest weighted characteristic.

  • Publication number: 20240373221
Abstract: Secure communication for autonomous vehicles can be increased by performing authentication operations before nodes, such as vehicles, roadside equipment (RSE), or base stations, are within communications range. A digital certificate management system for mobile nodes, including for moving vehicles, can facilitate ultra fast communications between vehicles and other nodes. The RSE can propagate vehicle node data, comprising direction, speed, or estimated time of arrival, to other vehicles and/or other RSEs. Consequently, this propagation of data prior to the communication between nodes can facilitate an efficient authentication system.

  • Patent number: 12126634
Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to an installable mutable intelligent security package (“IMISP”) and security system in Internet of Things (“IoT”) networks. According to one aspect disclosed herein, an IoT device can receive an IMISP. The IMISP can scan a plurality of memory locations of the memory for an IMISP operating system process. In response to finding the IMISP operating system process in a memory location of the plurality of memory locations, the IMISP and the IMISP operating system process can conduct a mutual authentication process. In response to a successful result of the mutual authentication process, the IMISP can self-install in the memory location. The IMISP can then scan the memory of the IoT device for an anomaly. In response to finding the anomaly, the IMISP can generate a report that includes information associated with the anomaly.
