Abstract: An applicator is provided for a flowable media, particularly an adhesive contained in a container and the applicator includes an elongate body member having an internal cavity that holds the container. The cavity has a distal end with a breaking means that is actuated by an axial force. Various embodiments of the actuator are shown to apply the force, including a wire cracker and a molded integral handle member with a lever linkage that bears against a ram which holds the ampoule and having a spring arm that rides within the cavity to oppose a pivoting force on the handle. These embodiments also enable single handed use.

Abstract: A tamper resistant catheter device preventing unauthorized access, while permitting authorized intravenous medications through an inlet port. The device comprises a catheter line retainer having a base supporting the catheter line, a lumen adaptor engaged with the catheter line, and a locking clamp for clamping the catheter line within the catheter line retainer. An installation tool is provided having a breakaway handle and a locking cap for covering the lumen adaptor. Finally, a slotted retaining sleeve is installed using the breakaway handle of the installation tool for engagement with the locking cap and around the lumen adaptor. The slotted retaining sleeve engages the locking clamp to block removal of the locking clamp from the line retainer. Once the slotted retaining sleeve and locking cap are installed, the breakaway handle is removed. A removal tool disengages the locking cap from the slotted retaining sleeve for authorized access.

Abstract: The present application relates generally to conveyances and, more particularly, to wheelchairs. In one embodiment, a wheelchair includes a seat assembly coupled to a chassis. The chassis includes a frame having a rear wheel support member, one or more front wheel support members extending in a forward direction from the rear wheel support member, and a seat support member. The rear wheel support member comprises a central portion and left and right portions extending downward from the central portion. The wheelchair also includes one or more drive wheels for propulsion of the wheelchair, a set of front wheels for supporting the wheelchair, and a shrouding system for at least partially covering the frame and other components of the wheelchair.
