  • Publication number: 20170172037
Abstract: A new and distinct floricane fruiting red raspberry, Rubus idaeus L., variety is described. The variety results from selection among a population of seedlings derived from a controlled cross between ‘Wakefield’ (seed parent) (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 21,185) and ‘NR14’ (pollen parent) (not patented). The new variety is distinguished from others by large, very firm fruit that have a medium red skin colour, and ripen midseason. Fruit of the new variety appears very suitable for machine harvesting and the process fruit market.

  • Patent number: 9582596
Abstract: A mechanism for determining if images exist before publishing to a web server, and replacing missing images with temporary images for the purpose of providing alternate content while eliminating web server error responses, which prevents needless alerts to site administrators. Upon detecting a modification to a web page, a determination is made as to whether the modification includes a link to an image that does not exist at a location specified by a path in the link to the image. Responsive to a determination that the modification includes a link to an image that does not exist at the location, an image placeholder is created for the image at the location.

  • Patent number: 9333286
Abstract: This disclosure relates to medical tubing installation detection. In certain aspects, a method is performed by a data processing apparatus. The method includes detecting that a tube is incorrectly installed on a drug delivery device by providing an instruction for a motor of the drug delivery device to pump a drug and receiving, after a period of time has passed since providing the instruction for the motor of the drug delivery device to pump the drug, a signal from a fluid detector connected to the tube, the signal indicating an absence of fluid in the tube.

  • Patent number: 8092221
Abstract: A speech-generating product for controlling the output of tabular or other composite data in a computer having a screen reader function. The product provides a customized control presentation tool that configures a screen reader to present tabular or other composite data to a user in the order most useful to the user. The tool includes the ability to configure the screen reader independently for both speech and Braille output on a control by control basis. This customized control presentation is saved in permanent storage. Consequently, each time the screen reader is presented with this instance of the control, the screen reader immediately knows how to present it to the user. The software product allows a user to modify the output by the screen reader of the data according to preferences configurable by the user.
