    Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a cabinet, shelves or other wall unit (10) on an interior wall (12) includes a pair of rigid support members (26) which are preferably of hollow construction and rectangular cross-section. Each support member (26) is secured to the wall (12) with a plurality of longitudinally spaced fasteners (28) such that the rear side thereof firmly engages the wall. Shoulder fasteners (32) are mounted at spaced intervals along the front sides of said support members (26) for engagement with slotted connector plates (36) secured to the side panels (16) of the unit (10).
