  • Publication number: 20220314078
Abstract: In one aspect of the disclosure, a method includes rendering, by a processor, a virtual environment associating, by the processor, exercise machine control signals with the virtual environment, and displaying, by the processor, the virtual environment on a video wall. The method may include receiving, by the processor, a video of a trainer on an exercise machine in front of the video wall displaying the virtual environment, wherein the exercise machine has one or more parameters which are controlled according to the exercise machine control signals associated with the virtual environment, associating, by the processor, the control signals with the video of the trainer in the virtual environment, and publishing the video with the associated control signals for use on a remote exercise machine.

  • Publication number: 20220090573
Abstract: The Submerged/Water-Level Turbine is a hydro-electric power generator. All possible designs characteristically generate power from a turbine by channeling a vertical flow of water to and from depths of a provided reservoir. Careful construction will be able to accommodate a full range of power demands by regulating the water level of the reservoir that surrounds the structure.

  • Patent number: 11167649
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for operating a vehicle that may be propelled via a primary axle and a secondary axle. In one example, a propulsion source of a secondary axle may be decoupled from at least one wheel via a dog clutch that includes teeth. The dog clutch may be disengaged in a way that reduces driveline noise and may reduce a possibility of driveline degradation.

  • Patent number: 10678665
Abstract: A computer system is provided that includes a cloud platform that includes a plurality of nodes. Each node includes a processor configured to run virtual machines. The cloud platform includes a fault condition injection engine configured to generate fault conditions on selected nodes of the plurality of nodes. The computer system further includes a user interface system configured to receive user input of fault condition experimentation parameters from a user for a target virtual machine associated with the user. The cloud platform allocates a set of nodes of the plurality of nodes for a controlled sandbox environment configured to run the target virtual machine of the user. The fault condition injection engine generates fault conditions on the allocated set of nodes based on the fault condition experimentation parameters.

  • Patent number: 7395891
Abstract: A four wheel drive powertrain control for an automotive vehicle is disclosed. It includes a torque transfer case that distributes power from an engine-powered transfer case mainshaft to a secondary driving axle through a friction clutch as power is distributed directly from the engine-powered mainshaft to a primary driving axle. The friction clutch capacity is sufficient to mechanically lock the transfer case in a four wheel drive mode. If the clutch torque capacity is exceeded, a control algorithm will strategically ramp down engine torque requests by a powertrain controller to eliminate clutch slip.

  • Patent number: 4087681
Abstract: An asynchronous to synchronous converter is disclosed which produces clock pulses in synchronism with data bits of a non-return-to-zero code having a variable data rate. The converter comprises a first bit clock generator which is adapted to produce a first timing signal for the first bit clock pulse of a data pulse which is one or more bits in width. The bit width is measured separately for high level and low level data pulses and the timing signal is generated accordingly. It also comprises a second bit clock generator which produces successive timing signals, one for each additional bit width, according to the maximum allowable number of bits per data pulse. Means are provided for compensating for systematic error in measured bit widths such as caused by ink spread variations. Additionally, means are provided to insert a bit clock pulse in the event of a missing pulse in the bit clock stream. Also, a digital noise rejection means is provided.
