  • Publication number: 20180056738
Abstract: An underlift fork-air suspension coupling unit for towing a semi-trailer truck having an air-ride suspension is provided. The coupling unit includes a substantially cylindrical device including a first end configured to engage with the air suspension slot beneath the air springs of certain air-ride suspensions of semi-trailer trucks, a second end configured to engage with a receiver of an underlift towing device, and a collar coaxially disposed between the first and second ends for separating the first and second ends. The coupling unit replaces underlift forks that are conventionally used with underlift towing devices. By specifically engaging with the air suspensions slot of these air-ride suspensions, rather than the axle as with the underlift forks, the coupling unit avoids the potential for the underlift device to bottom out against the underbody of the semi-trailer truck to be towed.

  • Patent number: 9638424
Abstract: An elongated gripping device for grasping objects, and particularly useful for moving and adjusting logs used to build a fire. The elongated gripping device includes an elongated outer shaft having an extension shaft on an end thereof. The extension shaft includes one or more prongs on an end thereof, disposed transversely to the extension shaft. The elongated gripping device further includes an elongated inner shaft extending through the outer shaft, and having a handle at a first end thereof. The inner shaft further includes one or more prongs on the second end thereof that are arranged transversely to the inner shaft. The prongs on the inner shaft and on the extension shaft oppose one another so as to form a claw-like structure that can be used to grasp objects of various shapes and sizes by rotating the handle to actuate the prongs.

  • Publication number: 20150352916
Abstract: A device and associated method of use for towing a vehicle having an air suspension is provided. The present invention is a substantially cylindrical coupling unit have a first end adapted to engage with a receiver of an underlift towing device, a second end adapted to engage with a slot disposed beneath the certain models of suspensions, and a coaxial collar disposed therebetween. The present coupling unit replaces underlift forks that are conventionally used with underlift towing devices. By engaging with the slot beneath the air suspension, rather than the axle as with the underlift forks, the present invention avoids the potential for the underlift device to bottom out against the underbody of the vehicle to be towed.

  • Publication number: 20070012182
Abstract: A fluid distribution system includes a flexible conduit having an inlet and an outlet and a filter positioned within the conduit between the inlet and the outlet. The filter is operable to separate air flowing through the conduit into nitrogen and permeate and to deliver the nitrogen to the outlet of the conduit. The filter is flexible for flexing movement with the conduit.
