  • Publication number: 20190306665
Abstract: In aspects of navigation tracking in an always aware location environment with mobile localization nodes, a positioning system includes a server computing device that can locate wireless communication devices in an always aware location (AAL) environment. A mobile localization node located within the AAL environment implements a positioning module to receive, from the server computing device, one or two initial coordinates of the mobile localization node at a current location in the AAL environment. The positioning module can determine one or more additional coordinates of the mobile localization node at the current location in the AAL environment, and designate the current location as an origin of the mobile localization node based on a combination of the initial and additional coordinates. The positioning module can then self-track navigation of the mobile localization node within the AAL environment as the mobile localization node moves from the origin to subsequent locations.

  • Patent number: 10418799
Abstract: A circuit interrupting device including one or more line terminals for connecting to an external power supply, one or more load terminals for connecting to an external load, an interrupting device, a fault detection circuit, and an auto-monitoring circuit. When the auto-monitoring circuit determines that the circuit interrupting device has reached its end-of-life, and it is determined that contacts of said interrupting device have not failed, then a signal is driven to a first level to actuate a switch and open the contacts. Additionally, said signal may further be driven to a second level to inhibit said circuit interrupting device from resetting when it is determined that contacts of said interrupting device have failed.

  • Patent number: 10299081
Abstract: In aspects of gesture profiles and location correlation, a mobile device includes a wireless radio system to scan for location data from wireless-enabled devices within communication range of the mobile device. The mobile device implements a profile module to initiate the scan for the location data responsive to motion of the mobile device, and can determine from the location data, location coordinates corresponding to locations of the mobile device before and after the scan. The profile module can determine gesture profiles of gestures corresponding to a location of the mobile device, identify the gestures that occur at the location of the mobile device based on the determined gesture profiles, and correlate the identified gestures of the gesture profiles with the location of the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20180112955
Abstract: An RPG defeat system and method wherein a foam body is placed at a proximate a target. The foam body has a sufficiently low density to be pierceable by an RPG sensor without the RPG sensor being strained sufficiently to create a voltage. The foam body has a compressive strength sufficient to deform the RPG short circuiting a voltage pathway from the sensor to the RPG detonator. The foam body has a sufficient thickness and/or is spaced from the target to deform the RPG short circuiting the voltage pathway from the sensor to the RPG detonator before the sensor strikes the target and is strained creating a voltage.

  • Publication number: 20180071131
Abstract: Methods are disclosed for converting on a mass scale elongated material webs into finished parts or devices. Slits form strands in a web, the strands comprising interconnected objects which correspond to parts of finished devices. Strands are combined with additional webs to form a material laminate from which finished devices are die cut. The methods are suitable for a range of converting applications including medical devices, particularly the external nasal dilator. Complex dilator devices produced from the methods are formed as a single body truss having horizontal regions adapted to engage outer wall tissues of first and second nasal passages of a nose. When in use the dilator stabilizes or expands nasal outer wall tissues and prevents the outer wall tissues from drawing inward during breathing. Methods of manufacture comprise separate steps for fabricating and assembling the elements and layers of finished dilator devices and for packaging finished devices individually or in groups.

  • Patent number: 9901480
Abstract: A nasal dilator comprises a laminate of vertical layers each consisting of one or more members or components. The laminated layers form a unitary, or single body, truss featuring horizontal regions adapted to engage outer wall tissues of first and second nasal passages and to traverse the bridge of a nose therebetween. When in use the dilator acts to stabilize and/or expand the nasal outer wall tissues and prevent said tissues from drawing inward during breathing. The dilator includes means to direct its resilient properties comprising one or more interior or exterior material separations, or discontinuity of shape of material, formed in at least one region of the truss and extending through at least one layer of the dilator. Said material separation or discontinuity of shape may comprise an opening, relief cut, slit or notch, and which may be configured to separate or vertically protrude, in part, from the truss when the dilator is in use on the nose of a wearer.
