    Abstract: A storage and transport box for one inch video tape reels and the like. The box has a base forming a reel receptacle and a pivotally attached top for closing the receptacle. An elongated latch door secured the top to the base in the closed position. Tabs on the elongated latch door assist the user in opening the top with respect to the base when the top is resiliently biased in the closed position by detents in the base.
