  • Patent number: 9086130
Abstract: A knob body is provided for a control lever. The knob body includes a lower segment, and an upper segment. The lower segment extends out from a vertical axis of the control lever and includes a pair of upright protrusions extending out from an upper portion thereof. The protrusions define a gap therebetween. The lower segment further includes a movable switch located within the gap. The lower segment further includes a first actuation switch disposed on a sidewall of the lower segment. The upper segment is disposed about the vertical axis and is located proximate to the upper portion of the lower segment. The upper segment is in a spaced relationship relative to the protrusions. The upper segment includes a locking switch that is operable to allow selective movement of the control lever, and a second actuation switch that is provided on a sidewall of the upper segment.

  • Patent number: 8689831
Abstract: Rotary valves are provided having an elongate spool defining coaxially aligned inlet and outlet ports for respectively receiving and discharging a fluid, and spool inlet and outlet orifices. A rotary cage assembly defines an annular cage recess and cage inlet and outlet orifices in communication with the recess and coaxially surrounds the spool for reciprocal rotations thereabout. An actuator assembly is coupled to the rotary cage assembly for moving the rotary cage assembly between open and closed positions. When in the open position the cage inlet and outlet orifices are in fluid communication with the spool inlet and outlet orifices, respectively, to allow fluid to flow from the spool inlet port to the spool outlet port by way of the annular cage recess. When in the closed position however fluid communication is blocked between at least the cage and spool outlet orifices.

  • Publication number: 20020074838
Abstract: An apparatus for covering a headrest and a visor, and more particularly a cover that can be used to cover both the headrest and the visor found in a vehicle. Also, the present invention pertains particularly to a headrest cover that is inflatable and to a visor cover that comprises a plurality of extendable portions. Furthermore, the present invention pertains particularly to a cover with an outer surface that comprises identifying indicia having parts of different light reflectivity. The invention has a particular application in covering a headrest and a visor in instances where there is a need to cover the headrest or the visor, so as protect the surface of the headrest or the visor from particles and other substances, or so as to provide on the headrest or the visor, identifying indicia having parts of different light reflectivity.
