    Abstract: Micromachined ultrasonic transducers having pressure ports are described. The micromachined ultrasonic transducers may comprise flexible membranes configured to vibrate over a cavity. The cavity may be sealed, in some instances by the membrane itself. A pressure port may provide access to the cavity, and thus control of the cavity pressure. In some embodiments, an ultrasound device including an array of micromachined ultrasonic transducers is provided, with pressure ports for at least some of the ultrasonic transducers. The pressure ports may be used to control pressure across the array.

The tamper switch is configured to generate an alert signal in response to sensing tampering of the tamper-proof gateway. The controller is configured to: 1) place the tamper-proof gateway in a secure state in response to receiving the alert signal from the tamper switch, and 2) withdraw the tamper-proof gateway from the secure state in response to receiving authentication information. Withdrawing the gateway from the secure state may comprise placing the tamper-proof gateway in a first privileged state or a second privileged state.

A controller may select a target sub-band of the emission spectrum based on information associated with the fluid, and may further determine a characteristic of the fluid using at least a portion of the output signal associated with the target sub-band of the emission spectrum. Alternatively, or additionally, a controller may apply an operator to the output signal, and may further determine the characteristic of the first fluid by applying a machine learning model to a result of the operator as applied to the first output signal.

The memory system may additionally include a single parity device storing parity information associated with the data. During a read operation of a set of data, a controller of the memory system may detect an error in data associated with a first check code, the data including two or more subsets of the set of data received from two or more corresponding memory devices. The controller may generate candidate data corresponding to one of the two or more subsets using the parity information and remaining subsets of the set of data. Then the controller may determine whether the candidate data is correct by comparing the first check code with a check value generated using the candidate data.
