  • Patent number: 11257010
Abstract: Methods and systems for updating a calendar entry for an accommodation listing are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method comprises generating an availability model and an acceptance model for an accommodation listing in an accommodation reservation system and determining based on those models the probability that the accommodation listing would be able to be booked. Furthermore, the result of an accommodation search query can be filtered and/or sorted using the determined probability of booking.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 24, 2019
Date of Patent: February 22, 2022
    Assignee: Airbnb, Inc.
Inventors: Nathan Blecharczyk, Maxim Charkov, Matt Weisinger, Riley Newman, Joseph Zadeh

  • Patent number: 9195826
Abstract: Potentially infected internal device(s) and potential malware command and control device(s) are identified by generating a bipartite graph that includes internal device(s) inside a network and destination(s) outside the network which communicate over a period of time. The bipartite graph is reduced to obtain a reduced bipartite graph, including by eliminating those connections that include a whitelisted internal device and those connections that include a whitelisted destination. From the reduced graph, a cluster of potentially infected internal device(s) and potential malware command and control device(s) are identified based at least in part on (1) the cluster's degree of isolation from other clusters and (2) an isolation threshold.

  • Publication number: 20130262071
Abstract: Described herein are systems and processes for designing the sequence of one or more interacting nucleic acid strands intended to adopt a target secondary structure at equilibrium. The target secondary structure is decomposed into a binary tree and candidate mutations are evaluated on leaf nodes of the tree. During a process of leaf optimization, defect-weighted mutation sampling is used to select each candidate mutation position with a probability proportional to its contribution to an ensemble defect of the leaf. Subsequences of the tree are then merged, moving up the tree until a final nucleotide sequence of interest is determined that has the target secondary structure at equilibrium.
