  • Patent number: 11386153
Abstract: A flexible tagging and searching system can be configured to associate tags with the input data to enable a search of the input data. The flexible tagging and searching system can receive user data and determine an identifier associated with the user data. The system can compare the identifier with other identifiers to determine that the identifier is unique. After determining that the identifier is unique, the system can associate a critical tag with the user data and store the critical tag in a database. Then the system can associate a non-critical tag with the user data. In some instances, the system can return query results such as a set of tag data and/or a set of data items.

  • Patent number: 11385299
Abstract: A system and method are provided to detect a fault on a circuit. A current sensor is provided for sensing current on at least one line conductor and/or a neutral conductor on a circuit, and a switch is operated between at least first and second positions to selectively control a signal pathway on the at least one line conductor or the neutral conductor in relations to the sensor. The sensor performs a first current measurement corresponding to current across one conductor from the at least one line conductor and the neutral conductor in the first position, and a second current measurement corresponding to a current balance or imbalance between the conductors in the second position. The current sensor outputs the first current measurement for detecting an arc fault in the first position, or the second current measurement for detecting a ground fault in the second position.

  • Patent number: 11385400
Abstract: The material stack of the present disclosure can be used for fabricating optical waveguides that are thin and flexible, and that can bend light around small turns. The stack of materials can include a polymer core and a cladding, which together can create a large difference in refractive index. As a result, light can remain within the core even when bent around radii where standard glass fibers could fail.

  • Patent number: 11388045
Abstract: A wireless communication network comprises network circuitry which hosts a Virtual Network Function (VNF). A VNF controller instantiates the VNF in the network circuitry and transfers instantiation information for the VNF to provisioning circuitry. The provisioning circuitry receives the instantiation information for the VNF and establishes a provisioning data link to the VNF. The provisioning circuitry transfers network provisioning data to the VNF over the provisioning data link. The VNF controller de-instantiates the VNF in the network circuitry and responsively transfers de-instantiation information for the VNF to the provisioning circuitry. The provisioning circuitry receives the de-instantiation information for the VNF and terminates the provisioning data link to the VNF. The VNF controller may comprise a Network Function Virtualization Management and Orchestration (NFV MANO) computer.

  • Publication number: 20220213125
Abstract: Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are highly porous entities comprising a multidentate ligand coordinated to multiple metal atoms, typically as a coordination polymer. MOFs are usually produced in powder form. Extrusion of powder-form MOFs to produce shaped bodies has heretofore proven difficult due to loss of surface area and poor crush strength of MOF extrudates, in addition to phase transformations occurring during extrusion. The choice of mixing conditions and the mixing solvent when forming MOF extrudates can impact these factors. Extrudates comprising a MOF consolidated material may feature the MOF consolidated material having a BET surface area of about 50% or greater relative to that of a pre-crystallized MOF powder material used to form the extrudate. X-ray powder diffraction of the extrudate shows about 20% or less conversion of the MOF consolidated material into a phase differing from that of the pre-crystallized MOF powder material.

  • Publication number: 20220215670
Abstract: A vehicular trailer assist system includes a rearward viewing camera disposed at a vehicle that views a trailer hitched at a fifth wheel hitch at a bed of the vehicle. With the trailer hitched to the fifth wheel hitch at the bed of the vehicle, the vehicular trailer assist system, via processing fisheye-view frames of image data captured by the camera, transforms fisheye-view frames of image data captured by the rearward viewing camera into bird's-eye view frames of image data. The vehicular trailer assist system determines a region of interest (ROI) in a transformed bird's-eye view frames of image data that includes a region where the fifth wheel hitch is present. The vehicular trailer assist system, via a Hough transform that transforms the determined ROI from a Cartesian coordinate system to a polar coordinate system, determines a trailer angle of the trailer relative to the vehicle.
