The utility bag system can include a fastener arranged to removably attach the utility extension to the body. The body can include at least one of a body portion, a lid portion, and a storage unit. The utility extension can include a pair of opposite planar surfaces. At least one of the body and the utility extension can have a magnetozone arranged to form a workstation. The workstation can be arranged to secure a metallic or magnetized article to the first or second shell. The first and second shell can be made of the same or a different material.
