    Abstract: A scrim that is more readily recycled by grinding is disclosed and has a plurality of high tenacity fibers or yarns having a tenacity of at least about five (5) grams per denier and oriented in the warp direction and a plurality of low tenacity fibers or yarns having a tenacity of less than about four (4) grams per denier and oriented in the weft direction. In preferred embodiments, the low tenacity fibers or yarns comprise textured fibers or spun and undrawn fibers.
