  • Publication number: 20240200666
Abstract: Systems, assemblies, apparatuses, and methods herein may provide a relatively enhanced engagement between valve components, such as valve bodies and valve seals. A valve member may include a valve body having a valve head and a neck portion connected to the valve head and having a radial dimension less than a radial dimension of the valve head. The valve body may include a seal engaging surface at least partially defining one or more recesses. The valve member further may include a valve seal connected to the valve body around the neck portion and adjacent the seal engaging surface. The valve seal may include a body engaging surface positioned against the seal engaging surface, forming an engagement that may resist one or more of outward radial migration, axial displacement, or rotational displacement of the valve seal relative to the valve body during operation of a pump including the valve member.
