  • Patent number: 12186609
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein are directed to a sprinkler to provide fire protection. The sprinkler system can include a deflector portion, a head portion, a thermal trigger portion, a trigger seat, or a tubular outer structure. The tubular outer structure can define an internal water flow channel. The water flow channel can extend along a longitudinal axis between an inlet and an outlet. The trigger seat can include a tubular exterior. The tubular exterior can be coupled with the tubular outer structure. The trigger seat can include a component. The component can occlude a flow of fluid through the dry pendent sprinkler assembly. The component can maintain the thermal trigger portion in position. At least one portion of the tubular exterior of the trigger seat can protrude into the water flow channel at an angle towards the longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 12162778
Abstract: Implementations of this disclosure are directed to systems, devices and methods for monitoring parameters associated with a body of liquid. In one embodiment, a device includes a container configured to be partially submerged in a liquid and includes sensors disposed within a submerged portion of the container to measure parameters associated with the liquid. An electronic component disposed within an unsubmerged portion of the container transmits information related to the parameters based upon which one or more actions related to treatment of the body of liquid are suggested.

  • Patent number: 12040599
Abstract: A wire stripper assembly includes a first bushing for stripping wire of a first size, a second bushing for stripping wire of a second size that is different than the first size, and a wire stripper having a housing and a drive mechanism. The first bushing has a first color. The second bushing has a second color that is different than the first color. The first bushing and the second bushing are alternately coupled to the housing for rotation about a longitudinal axis by the drive mechanism. Each of the first and second bushings has a tooth that is engageable with a wire for stripping an insulation jacket therefrom.

  • Patent number: 10965595
Abstract: Systems and methods for accelerated stabilization of data packet metadata are disclosed herein. The system can include a memory having a content database and a user profile database. The system can include a user device having a first network interface and a first I/O subsystem. The system can include one or more servers. The one or more servers can: retrieve data packet metadata for a data packet; determine that the data packet metadata is unstable; identify a set of potential recipients of the data packet; select one of the set of potential recipients as the recipient of the data packet; provide the data packet to the recipient of the data packet; receive a response from the recipient to the provided data packet; and automatically update the data packet metadata based on the response received from the recipient.

  • Patent number: 10843736
Abstract: A reinforcement member for a side sill of a vehicle is provided. The reinforcement member comprises an elongated hollow body having a closed cross section. The elongated hollow body includes a first coordinating wall and an access wall adjacent to the first coordinating wall. The access wall includes plurality of weld access openings along a longitudinal direction. The first coordinating wall is spot welded to a first mating surface of the side sill via plurality of weld access openings. The elongated hollow body is manufactured from ultra high strength martensitic steel by roll forming process.

  • Patent number: 10754433
Abstract: A system and method uses multiple devices in concert as security for accessing an account. The system and method may use one or more security measures based on unique gestures, coordinated gestures between two devices, presence of multiple devices, sequence of actions, and other measures to prevent fraud. Additionally, these security measures may be rearranged or changed such that the devices may collaborate to provide access to multiple different accounts.

  • Patent number: 9678019
Abstract: A lumber check grader-actuatable interface enables a check grader to interact with grade-quality measured boards of lumber conveyed along a flow path and passing in front of the check grader. The interface accurately and continuously tracks the location of each board in front of a check grader and tracks the location of the check grader's hands relative to the boards. Gestures can, therefore, be used for a selected board to perform additional actions, such as changing the grade or changing the trims. The interface enables a check grader to walk alongside and keep pace with a board of interest as it is transported and to provide feedback to the interface about a needed change for the board of interest. By knowing which board is of interest to a check grader, the interface can display additional information for only that board without overwhelming the check grader with non-stop information overload.
