Abstract: A blower including a passageway for directing airflow from an air inlet to a front end of the blower, the passageway having a variable length, wherein the passageway is made up of a tube of a base component of the blower and one or more extension tubes detachably coupled to the base component, and wherein the passageway defines a linear conduit essentially free of bends or curves between the air inlet and the front end of the blower; a motor disposed in the passageway and operably coupled to a fan; and a handle disposed below the passageway, wherein the handle comprises a trigger that receives a user input to drive the motor, wherein the handle extends in a direction approximately perpendicular to the passageway.

Abstract: A blower including: a passageway for directing airflow from an air inlet to a front end of the blower, the passageway having a variable length; a motor disposed in the passageway and operably coupled to a fan, a handle disposed below the passageway, wherein the handle comprises a trigger that receives a user input and a sensor that detects a position of the trigger; and a control circuitry in communication with the motor and the sensor, wherein the control circuitry controls a speed of the motor based on information from the sensor, wherein the length of the passageway between the air inlet and air outlet is greater than or equal to 12 inches.

Abstract: An axial blower vacuum is provided. An airflow generation device includes a housing extending between a front end and a rear end, and a passageway that extends between a first opening and a second opening. The first opening is adjacent to the rear end of the housing. The device has a fan assembly positioned at least partly within the housing and including a first fan, a second fan, and a motor configured to drive rotation of the first fan and the second fan. The device includes a blower attachment and a vacuum attachment configured to interchangeably couple to the housing and/or the fan assembly at the rear end of the housing. The fan assembly is rotatable such that, in a first configuration, the first fan is disposed adjacent to the first opening, and in a second configuration, the second fan is disposed adjacent to the first opening.
