  • Publication number: 20250002334
Abstract: In described examples, a MEMS device component includes a passivation layer formed from a vapor and/or a liquid compound that may include precursors. The compound may contain amino acid, antioxidants, nitriles or other compounds, and may be disposed on a surface of the MEMS device component and/or a package or package portion thereof. If the compound is a precursor, it may be treated to cause formation of the passivation layer from the precursor.

  • Publication number: 20240391830
Abstract: An environmentally-friendly approach to producing concrete using reclaimed concrete aggregate material is provided. Reclaimed concrete aggregate material is obtained by processing recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) waste materials with an impact treatment. The RCA contains natural stone or other aggregate particles that has cementitious material bonded thereto. The impact treatment removes at least a portion of the cementitious material from the aggregate particles, leaving reclaimed concrete aggregate particles having sufficiently little bonded cementitious material so as to be a suitable alternative to virgin aggregate in asphalt and concrete mixes, even for concrete that will be used in structural load-bearing applications for use to construct structural members of buildings and other structures. The impact treatment may be performed by tumbling RCA with impactors in a rotating drum.

  • Publication number: 20240302184
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods of generating blockages in map information for use by a fleet of autonomous vehicles. For instance, information from an autonomous vehicle of the fleet may be received by one or more processors of a server computing system. That the received information meets at least one set of rules for generating blockages may be determined. Based on the determination that the received information meets at least one set of rules for generating blockages, blockage data identifying a specific area of a blockage may be generated. The blockage data may be sent to the autonomous vehicles of the fleet in order to enable the autonomous vehicles of the fleet to avoid the specific area of the blockage.

  • Publication number: 20240070215
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to an artificial reality (XR) browser configured to trigger an immersive experience. Implementations display an element at a browser chrome of the XR browser when an immersive experience is loaded. For example, the XR browser can include an application programming interface (API) that supports configuration of a browser chrome element by components of a webpage. The API call can cause the display of the browser chrome element, change a display property for the browser chrome element, or configure the browser chrome element in any other suitable manner. Upon receiving input at the browser chrome element (configured by the API call), the XR browser can transition from displaying a two-dimensional panel view of a webpage supported by loaded web resources (e.g., hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) pages, graphic images, etc.) to a three-dimensional environment supported by preloaded immersive resources (e.g., three-dimensional models, graphic images, etc.

  • Publication number: 20230391620
Abstract: Hypochlorite salts and substantially dehydrated acid-form cation exchange resin beads are combined at specified ratios within a porous enclosure such as a pouch or sachet. Hypochlorous acid solutions are produced on demand by introducing the mixture-containing pouch into a chemical excess of water. Spontaneous exchange reactions occur at room temperature within a few minutes to produce aqueous hypochlorous acid, while the cations from the hypochlorite salt are simultaneously sequestered by the resin beads. The resin beads remain contained within the original porous enclosure to allow mechanical isolation or separation from the resulting solution.

  • Publication number: 20230152936
Abstract: Embodiments of a 3D web interaction system are disclosed that allow a user to select a content item from a browser, displayed in an artificial reality environment, and present a corresponding version of the content item in the artificial reality environment. The 3D web interaction system can create the version of the selected content item in different ways depending on whether the selected content item is associated with 3D content and, if so, the type of the associated 3D content. For example, the 3D web interaction system can create and present different versions of the selected content item depending on whether the selected content item is(a) not associated with 3D content, (b) associated with “environment content,” or (c) associated with one or more 3D models.
