  • Publication number: 20080263764
Abstract: A crib, which is convertible into a toddler bed and a standard bed, has four panels forming an enclosure around a mattress. The toddler bed is formed by removing a section of one of the panels such that the mattress is accessible along one side of the toddler bed. The standard bed is formed by reconfiguring two of the panels forming the enclosure around the crib mattress into two side rails. The side rails are then installed in a spaced apart and substantially parallel relationship to each other between the two other panels. The two other panels may form a headboard and a footboard for the standard bed.

  • Publication number: 20070213216
Abstract: A shiny metal base ornament is configured with a series of concentric geometric figures of sequentially decreasing sizes from periphery toward center, with a slot separating juxtaposed geometric figures, and a spine joins juxtaposed geometric figures across the slot. A surface coating is of clear substrate suited to receive dye sublimation inks. The coating carries a graded surface color scheme of dye sublimation inks. A method of forming employs a computerized physical design and an extracted cutout image that provides a template for a coloration pattern that registers precisely with the physical ornament. Color gradations cross slots to coat cut edges during sublimation.

  • Publication number: 20060090509
Abstract: A device for inserting jewelry into pierced body openings which consists of an elongated cylinder having a closed pointed end for insertion into body openings, and a hollow end which friction fits over the jewelry's end. Once the device is fitted over the jewelry, the pointed end of the device is inserted through the body's opening, which allows for the device with attached jewelry to be inserted and pushed through the body opening without damaging tissue. Since only the smooth plastic surface of the device makes contact with any tissue, contact of the jewelry's threaded or sharp edges with tissue is eliminated. This reduces tissue damage and risk of infection. The device's shape can be straight or curved, and its dimensions vary to accommodate the size of the jewelry and the specific pierced body openings.

  • Publication number: 20050233356
Abstract: Methods and compositions for determining the duration of a cell cycle phase of a mammalian cell, as well as identification of the cell cycle stage of fixed mammalian cells, are provided. In practicing the subject methods, at least one biosensor polypeptide that monitors a cell-cycle phase in a mammalian cell, such as mitosis, G1, S, or G2 phase, is used to determine the duration of a cell-cycle phase of a mammalian cell. Also provided are methods for identifying an agent (e.g., a gene product or small molecule compound) that modulates the duration of a cell-cycle phase of a mammalian cell, as well as kits and systems for practicing the subject methods.
