  • Patent number: 10339646
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for selecting aerial images for image processing to identify Energy Infrastructure (EI) features is provided. The method includes performing image processing on aerial images of a portion of global terrain captured at different times to determine differences in terrain content the captured images. Aerial images are selected for further image processing according to identified differences in terrain content. The selected images are imaged processed via an EI feature recognition type to identify EI features within the images.

  • Patent number: 9813861
Abstract: The hyper-local broadcasting system may include a global positioning system (“GPS”) embedded in a user's media device, such as a smartphone or tablet. The hyper-local broadcasting system allows a person to create a localized hotspot and to specify the information that is pushed to users who enter the hotspot in a hyper-localized manner. Such information may be, for example, ads, coupons, music, video, literature, and other information that may be particularly relevant to the hotspot.

  • Patent number: 8538773
Abstract: A method of determining a quality of care provided by a healthcare provider to individuals in a population is provided. A data processing apparatus that has one or more processors is disclosed. Data representing biomarkers for individuals in a population is received. Baseline and present risks are determined. Risk reduction values are determined. Based on the current risk reduction, a quality score is determined. A scale is created, and the quality score is mapped to the scale. The global quality score of the disclosure provides numerous benefits over past performance measures.
