Abstract: Disclosed is a drill attachment device comprising a transfer gear configured to rotate about an axis perpendicular to the axis of a drill used to power the transfer gear. The transfer gear may comprise an open-ended slot which provides a passageway through which a threaded rod may pass. The open-ended slot may further be configured to retain a mechanical nut, enabling a user to run a threaded rod through the open-ended slot for driving the nut along the rod. The transfer gear may also support an external driver, and the drill attachment device may comprise guide slots configured to position the rod and/or nut against the external driver for driving a nut up or down rod.

Abstract: A portable crimping device for crimping around a peripheral edge of at least one sheet metal pipe is disclosed. The device comprises a housing having a top side, a bottom side, a left side plate and a right side plate, a plurality of gear means positioned between the top side and the bottom side, at least one adapter attached to one of the gear means and at least one axis bar attached to another one of the gear means. The peripheral edge to be crimped is inserted into a vertical opening on the bottom side. The one of the gear means spins in a clockwise direction and the other one of the gear means spins in a counterclockwise direction upon rotation of the adapter attached to a power drill. This spinning action of the gear means automatically drives the device onto and around the peripheral edge to form crimps.

Abstract: A crimping tool attachment for drills that crimps spiral sheet metal pipe decreasing the diameter allowing it to fit into an equally sized spiral sheet metal pipe. The crimping tool will adjust for different sized drills using an adjustable steel rod in combination with a commercial grade rubber bands with holes allowing for adjustment. The crimping tool used in conjunction with an impact drill will crimp the ends of spiral sheet metal pipe in seconds using very little physical labor.
