Abstract: One or more embodiments of the disclosure provide systems and methods for providing media presentations to users of a media presentation system. A media presentation generally includes a plurality of media segments provided by multiple users of the media presentation system. In one or more embodiments, a user of the media presentation system may share a media presentation with a co-user. The media presentation system can provide a number of features to assist a user in sharing, filtering, and accessing media presentations.

The content management server receives a location of the content for the page associated with the product. The content management server transmits, to an ecommerce server, a request for ecommerce functionality for the page. The content management server transmits, to the customer device, data for loading the page associated with the product, the data for loading the page including the content for the page and the ecommerce functionality for the page.

Abstract: Techniques for managing discussion sharing on a mobile platform, comprising a mobile discussions application. The mobile discussions application may include, among other components, a discussions imaging component for recognizing a ticket associated with a resource in a social networking system and a discussions management component for enabling a user having an associated user profile information to access the resource based at least partially on the ticket associated with the resource.

Abstract: A graphics card adapter that includes a printed circuit board (PCB) having a PCI Express (PCI-E) interface for transferring graphics information via a PCI-E bus, and a plurality of MXM connectors coupled to the PCB for matingly engaging with graphics cards having a corresponding MXM interface. The graphics card adapter further includes a switch arranged on the PCB which configures a graphics bus between the switch and each of the graphics cards via the corresponding MXM interface, wherein each of the graphics bus is configured to have a substantially equal bandwidth, and wherein the switch multiplexes the PCI-E bus between each of the graphics busses.

Abstract: A method for streaming graphics, that includes determining, with a first process, the location of a back buffer of a second process, wherein the back buffer stores rendered graphics of the second process, and wherein the first and second processes run on a server. The method further includes copying at least a portion of the rendered graphics from the back buffer, thereby generating a rendered graphics copy and applying the rendered graphics copy to a flat two-dimensional (2D) object, thereby generating a textured object. The method further includes encoding the textured object into a video stream compatible with being transmitted over a network, and transmitting the video stream from the server to a client device via a network.

Abstract: A method for performing graphic processing that includes obtaining graphics data with a modular computing card, the modular computing card comprising a processing unit, a PCI-Express interface, and a network interface means, wherein the modular computing card is configured for operating within a host computer via the PCI-Express interface, and also configured for operating as a stand-alone computing card via power through the PCI-Express interface. The method further comprising executing predetermined rules employed by a program, thereby determining a graphics data processing means to be actuated for processing the graphics data, wherein the graphics data processing means is one of the processing unit or an external graphics data processing means communicably coupled to the modular computing card via the network interface means.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes an apparatus and method relating to LED fixtures having an LED module capable of operating at a temperature. The LED module is also capable of being operated within a desired temperature range having an upper limit and a lower limit. A fan is operable for cooling the LED module when the temperature of the LED module approaches the upper limit. A heater is operable for heating the LED module when the temperature of the LED module approaches the lower limit. A heat sink may be in thermal communication with the LED module such that the fan may cool and the heater may heat the heat sink. The controller may also be configured to selectively activate the heater and the fan. The controller may also be in electrical communication with a temperature sensor which is in thermal communication with the LED module such that the controller may read the temperature of the LED module. The controller may activate the fan and/or the heater depending on the temperature of the LED module.

Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a frameless solar module includes a top member made by a solid material including two contact pads and a bottom member made by a rubber material including two upward rounded end bumps. The top member and the bottom member are operably fixed by a screw set in a symmetric mounting configuration. The contact pad is also made from the rubber material for pressing onto a top cover glass panel near an edge region. The upward rounded end bump is for supporting a portion of a bottom substrate glass panel at a first offset distance away from the top cover glass panel and a horizontal offset distance away from the edge region. The first offset distance is adjusted to a thickness of the frameless solar module and the second distance is predetermined for providing adequate support of the frameless solar module to allow uninhibited flexion under load.

Abstract: A method for handling graphics processing requests that includes creating a network communication pipeline for transmitting graphics data between a first virtual machine (VM) and a second VM via corresponding software installed on the first and second VMs, wherein the second VM has access to one or more graphics processing units (GPUs) via a hypervisor, obtaining a graphics processing request and associated unprocessed graphics data generated by the first VM with the software installed on the first VM, and transmitting the unprocessed graphics data to the second VM via the network communication pipeline. The method further including processing the unprocessed graphics data with at least one of the one or more GPUs allocated to the second VM, thereby generating processed graphics data, and transmitting the processed graphics data to the first VM via the network communication pipeline.

The integrated float line assembly includes a braided portion slidably captured between the two ends of a float line, wherein the float line can slide along an interior hollow of the braided portion and be selectively braked by engaging the braided portion. The braided portion is provided with substantially rigid end ferrules. Obstruction having a transverse dimension larger than an inner diameter of the ferrule is provided with at least one end of the float line to prevent the braided portion from being separated from the float line.

Abstract: The present invention is a shock absorbing tandem roller skate including a shoe or boot, a shoe plate secured to the shoe, at least one shock absorbing unit secured to the shoe plate, at least a first pair of wheels secured to the at least one shock absorbing unit, at least a second pair of wheels, a first brake unit for providing braking to the at least a first pair of wheels, and a second brake unit for providing braking to the at least a second pair of wheels. The shock absorbing mechanism of the at least one shock absorbing unit flex and absorb shock horizontally and diagonally in a simultaneous manner to provide a steering mechanism for the user. The present invention is also directed to skateboards and scooters that may utilize the shock absorbing technology of the present invention.

Abstract: A system and a method for a user interface which generates a preview display to aid in the navigation of items of content on a computer. A screen displays an item to a user. Upon receipt of a user input representing a proposed navigational action to be performed with respect to the item, a preview display is generated and rendered on the screen display. The preview display includes at least a portion of the display which would result from a selection to perform the navigational action with respect to the item.

Abstract: A vehicle comprised of skies on the bottom and a folding device for means of storage and portability and a brake system for means of stopping. The skies allow the user to travel short distances on snow or ice. The collapsing device is based on locking the vehicle in an upright or collapsed position. The brake system is made up of a hinge, a spring, and a piece that digs into the snow to increase friction between the vehicle and the snow, when the user puts pressure on the top of the brake. The brake is located on the back of the vehicle. The result is a vehicle that allows the user to travel short distances on snow in a standing position. This also allows the user to travel down snowy hills as a kind of sled, in a stand up position.

Abstract: A blade roller skate having a sole plate supporting multiple rollers or wheels from its underside in downwardly depending relationship and with front rollers in linear alignment along the central longitudinal axis of the plate and rear rollers arranged in tandem separated by the central longitudinal axis. The front rollers are mounted on axles incorporating shock absorbing devices while the rear rollers are movably carried on separate axles connected to a truck which includes shock absorbing devices associated with each axle. The truck mounts the separate rear roller axles to permit independent lateral movement in response to tilting or angling of the sole plate during use of the skate.
