Abstract: The disclosure includes a method and apparatus for protecting an air vent pipe. In one or more embodiments, a cover can include a plurality of sidewalls and a pipe portal disclosed through at lease on of the side walls. The distal end of an air vent pipe can be disposed through the pipe portal and into the internal volume of the cover. A clamp can secure the cover to the air vent pipe. An access door disposed in a side wall can give access to the clamp and distal end of the air vent pipe and closing and locking the access door with a locking mechanism can prevent unauthorized users from accessing the distal end of the air vent pipe.
