Patent number: 11473700Abstract: A clamp includes first and second bands, a pair of strut attachment legs, a screw, and a screw housing. Each band has a first end and a second end. The first band defines slots extending across a width thereof and disposed adjacent to the second end thereof. Each strut attachment leg is fixed to the first end of one of the bands. The screw housing receives the second ends of the bands and captures the screw while allowing the screw to rotate. The clamp secures a tube to a strut when the clamp is placed over the tube, the strut attachment legs are positioned relative to the strut so that notches in the strut attachment legs receive at least one of the flanges on the strut, and the screw is rotated to draw the first band further into the screw housing and thereby tighten the clamp around the tube.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2021Date of Patent: October 18, 2022Assignee: ZSI-Foster, Inc.Inventors: Thomas D. Wright, Joshua Blake Smith

Patent number: 10938174Abstract: Torque adapter for a cable connector that expands to fit connector nuts of different sizes. The adapter fits around the cable connector and engages three of the corners of a hex nut with matching recessed regions in its inner surface. It has three slots that receive the other three corners of the connector nut. The adapter is flexible so that the slots may widen to accommodate connector nuts of larger widths. The outer surface may be hexagonal so that a wrench or similar tool may be used to turn the torque adapter.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 2017Date of Patent: March 2, 2021Assignee: Steren Electronics International, LLCInventors: Joshua Blake, Brandon Clark

Patent number: 9564694Abstract: A compressible, F-connector and method for interconnection with coaxial cable that includes a biasing grommet for promoting electrical continuity despite inadequate nut tightening. Each connector has a rigid nut, a post penetrating the nut, a tubular body, and an end cap. The conductive post coaxially extends through the connector, linking the nut and body. A post end penetrates the coaxial cable. Each connector body comprises a frontal ring groove in which is seated a biasing grommet with integral wings spiraling away from one or both grommet ends that bias the nut to insure mechanical and electrical contact with the post.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2014Date of Patent: February 7, 2017Assignee: PERFECTVISION MANUFACTURING, INC.Inventors: Joshua Blake, Glen David Shaw

Patent number: 9565427Abstract: A high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) test system including an HDMI test device that includes a display, a microcontroller, first and second input ports, an output port, a first cable connector, a second cable connector, and a third cable connector. The HDMI test device couples to an external device and receives an HDMI signal from the external device via the first cable connector. The microcontroller receives the HDMI signal from the first input port and converts the signal to a video signal, wherein the display displays an image associated with the video signal. The microcontroller transmits a test HDMI signal to the third cable connector, receives the test signal from the second cable connector and compares the test signal transmitted to the third cable connector and the test signal received from the second cable connector to determine continuity of an HDMI cable coupled with the second and third cable connectors.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2016Date of Patent: February 7, 2017Assignee: Steren Electronics International, LLCInventors: Joshua Blake, Brandon Clark
