  • Publication number: 20240152447
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to remotely testing virtual network functions with edge gateways. A method may include providing an application for receiving user inputs for testing a virtual network function (VNF); receiving, via the application, a first user input associated with adding an image of a virtual machine instance to the application; downloading, via the application, the image based on the first user input; receiving, via the application, a second user input associated with instantiating a service associated with the virtual machine instance; instantiating, via the application, the service based on the second user input; receiving, via the application, a third user input associated with testing the VNF with the edge gateway device using the image and the service; and executing, via the application, a test of the VNF with an edge gateway using the image and the service based on the third user input.

  • Publication number: 20240100658
Abstract: A powered ratchet includes a motor, a mounting portion, and an output member configured to rotate in response to activation of the motor. The output member defines a drive axis. The powered ratchet also includes a release mechanism configured to selectively couple an anvil to the output member. The release mechanism includes a cover coupled to the mounting portion with a track and a locking member positioned between the mounting portion and the cover and operable to slide within the track between a locked position, in which the locking member engages the anvil to secure the anvil to the output member for co-rotation therewith, and a release position, in which the locking member is disengaged from the anvil to facilitate removal of the anvil. The release mechanism also includes a biasing member biasing the locking member to the locked position.

  • Publication number: 20190003933
Abstract: Devices for physically separating biological samples and methods for separating biological samples are disclosed. An example device may include a vessel for holding a biological sample. The biological sample may include a plurality of cells and a fluid. A filter membrane may be disposed within the vessel and positioned adjacent to an end region of the vessel. An auger member may be disposed within the vessel. The auger member may be designed to drive cells within the biological sample into contact with the filter membrane.

  • Publication number: 20190003935
Abstract: A cell filtration assembly adapted to capture cells from a biological sample during centrifugation includes a filter support member including a sample well and a filter membrane that spans the sample well. In some cases, the filter support member and/or the filter membrane may be adapted to be sectioned. In some cases, a protective element may be disposed over at least a portion of the filter support member in order to protect the filter support member from tissue processing reagents during processing of the cells captured from the biological sample.

  • Patent number: 8849693
Abstract: Disclosed is a system for performing online data queries and purchasing advertisements associated with business listings. The system for performing online data queries is a distributed computer system with a plurality of server nodes each fully redundant and capable of processing a user query request. Each server node includes a data query cache and other caches that may be used in performing data queries. The data query, as well as request allocation, is performed in accordance with an adaptive partitioning technique with a bias towards an initial partitioning scheme. Generic objects are created and used to represent business listings upon which the user may perform queries. Various data processing and integration techniques are included which enhance data queries. An update technique is used for synchronizing data updates as needed in updating the plurality of server nodes.
