Abstract: A device for repelling pests from a footwear mitigates an infiltration of pests in a footwear, resists penetration of liquids/solids in the footwear and mitigates unpleasant odors emanating from the footwear. The pest repellant device includes a covering to cover a peripheral opening of the footwear and to repel the pests and/or repel against the weather related and/or man-made conditions. The covering includes a first portion defining an opening for engaging a portion of the footwear that defines the peripheral opening. The covering also includes a second portion attached to the first portion. The second portion is dimensioned and configured to cover the peripheral opening of the footwear.
