Abstract: The present invention provides a child's toothbrush that encourages the user to brush his or her teeth more often and for at least a proscribed minimum period of time per brushing. The present invention accomplishes this by providing a tangible, user perceptible reward at the end of a suitably long and well performed brushing sequence. In one embodiment of the present invention, the user is rewarded with a brief shower of bubbles blown from the handle of the device. In other embodiments, colored lights, music or sound, and/or encouraging textual or graphical messages reward the user.
