  • Patent number: 10659606
Abstract: A mechanism for filtering communication including receiving an incoming call from a calling party, the incoming call being directed to a called party. The mechanism further comprises obtaining calling party information comprising a value of at least one descriptive parameter of the calling party and obtaining historical called party information relating to past activities of the called party. One or more call-handling rules are generated based on the historical called party information, each call-handling rule defining how to handle an incoming call based on a descriptive parameter of a calling party. The calling party information is processed according to the one or more call-handling rules to determine how to handle the received incoming call.

  • Publication number: 20200066004
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to improved text focus for head mounted displays (HMDs). Sensor data is received from an eye-tracker of an HMD equipped by a user. A determination whether the user is reading is made. In response to determining that the user is reading, a text area on a display of the HMD is determined. The display of the HMD is then filtered based on the determined text area, where a non-text area of the display is filtered and the text area is not filtered.

  • Publication number: 20180107358
Abstract: A method for providing a cohesive user experience when using multiple displays includes displaying a first graphical element on a first display screen, and a second graphical element on a second display screen. The method enables a user to move at least one of the first and second graphical elements until the first and second graphical elements are substantially aligned with one another across the first and second display screens. The method further enables the user to resize at least one of the first and second graphical elements until the first and second graphical elements are scaled similarly on the first and second display screens. The method automatically adjusts a relative understood position of the first and second display screens and scales graphical objects displayed across the first and second display screens. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9627333
Abstract: An integrated circuit has a set of circuit components. The set of circuit components enables the circuit to execute an action. The integrated circuit has a structural weakness. In response to undergoing a mechanical force, the structural weakness will cause the integrated circuit to undergo a structural failure. A human is able to provide the mechanical force without the use of tools. The structural failure will alter one or more circuit components of the set of circuit components. The alteration will result in the set of circuit components no longer enabling the integrated circuit to execute the action.
