Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally related to a system and method for assessing a fraud risk. In one embodiment, a method for assessing a fraud risk is disclosed herein. A web browser extension executing on the computing device identifies an account associated with the computing device. The web browser extension detects that the computing device navigated to a web page hosted by a third party server. The web browser extension determines that the third party server prompted the computing device to opt into two-factor authentication functionality. The web browser extension determines that the computing device did not opt into the two-factor authentication functionality. The web browser extension prompts, via an application programming interface (API), an organization computing system to update a fraud metric associated with the account.

Abstract: The innovation disclosed, in one aspect thereof, comprises systems and methods of a browser extension for product quality. Online shopping by a user can be monitored on a browser by a browser extension or integrated application with the browser. A potential purchase of a product is detected by the integrated application. The product is identified via analysis of a web page and cross reference to known products. The integrated application retrieves warranty claims data from an accessible warranty database. The warranty claims data is analyzed to determine a recommendation of the product. The integrated application presents the recommendation via the browser as an alert to the user.

Abstract: A server device receives, from a user device, a session initiation request and information identifying a location of the user device, and receives, from a monitoring device that is separate from the user device, an authentication request and information identifying a location of the monitoring device. The server device processes the session initiation request and the authentication request to authenticate a user of the user device, and determines, based on the location of the user device and the location of the monitoring device, that the user device and the monitoring device are collocated. The server device creates, after authenticating the user of the user device and determining that user device and the monitoring device are collocated, a session token, and sends the session token to the user device to enable the user device to access at least one resource of the server device.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable medium disclosed herein relate to identity verification and authorization method. In one embodiment, the system can generate and send a message to a device associated with a user based on an initiated request from the user and a determination the user should be authenticated, wherein the message requests a content-based response from the user to authenticate the user. In another embodiment, the system can receive the content-based response from the user in reply to the message, wherein the content-based response comprises SMS (short message service) metadata, emoji, photo, video, audio, or a combination thereof. In another embodiment, the system can authenticate the user based on a determination of a confirmed match between the content-based response from the user and a response key preselected by the user.

Abstract: An automated teller machine (ATM) may include an input component and one or more processors. The input component may be configured to detect multi-factor input associated with an account. The multi-factor input may include at least two of: a sequence of characters input via the input component, a force with which at least one character, of the sequence of characters, is input via the input component, a length of time over which at least one character, of the sequence of characters, is input via the input component, or a combination of at least two characters, of the sequence of characters, that are input concurrently via the input component. The ATM may receive the multi-factor input, validate the multi-factor input in association with the account, and selectively permit or deny access to one or more actions associated with the account based on validating the multi-factor input.

Abstract: A device may obtain digital signature information relating to a quantity of a type of cryptocurrency, and receive transaction data relating to a credit account, associated with a user, after obtaining the digital signature information. The transaction data may include information identifying a transaction amount. The device may determine, after receiving the transaction data, an amount, of the type of cryptocurrency, that satisfies the transaction amount, perform, using the digital signature information, an action to conduct a sale of a portion of the quantity of the type of cryptocurrency based on determining the amount, and cause proceeds from the sale to be transferred to the credit account as payment for the transaction amount.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques and apparatuses that are configured to receive an indication that a web browsing session executing on an enterprise server needs additional information based on a request for additional information being sent to a client device. The request may include an identifier of the web browsing session and an identifier of an enterprise server that initiated the web browsing session. A globally unique identifier related to the web browsing session and an identifier of the enterprise server is stored in a common data store. The web browsing session may be paused when the web browsing session requests additional information from a client device. The client device may respond with the additional information. The system may provide the identifier of the enterprise server to a load balancing component so the identified web browsing session executing on the enterprise server may continue to be used.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for improving computer authentication processes through excluding transactions from related users in transaction-based authentication. A computing device may receive a request for access to an account from a first user. The computing device may provide account data to a machine learning model. The computing device may receive data indicating a relatedness between the users from the machine learning model. The computing device may generate a modified set of false merchant choices for the first user by excluding merchants with which one or more users related to the first user has conducted a transaction within a predetermined time period. An authentication question may be generated, and access to the account may be provided based on a response to the authentication question.

Abstract: In some implementations, a system may capture audio from a call between a calling device and a called device. The system may filter the captured audio to generate a background audio layer. The system may generate an audio footprint that is a representation of sound in the background audio layer. The system may determine that the audio footprint includes a triggering sound footprint based on one or more audio characteristics of the audio footprint. The system may detect synthetic sound based on the audio footprint and after determining that the audio footprint includes the triggering sound footprint, wherein the synthetic sound is indicative of a sound recording. The system may transmit a notification to one or more devices associated with the call based on detecting the synthetic sound.

The user interface may comprise a card reader. The card reader may be configured for card rotation about an axis of a bank card. The user interface may be configured to receive card rotation input from a user. The ATM may comprise at least one memory storing instructions. The ATM may comprise at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may comprise receiving identification information from the user. The operations may comprise receiving the card rotation input. The operations may comprise extracting a card rotation sequence from the card rotation input. When the card rotation sequence is within a predetermined threshold from a stored card rotation sequence corresponding to the identification information, the operations may comprise authenticating the user for an ATM operation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for confirming and/or updating account information are disclosed. The systems and methods may calculate relocation scores based on transaction data and device location data. The relocation scores may be based on locations of the transactions and/or locations of a user device beyond a registered customer address. A relocation score can be calculated based on a quantity of transactions having transaction locations beyond a first predetermined distance from the customer address as determined by transaction location identifiers. A relocation score can be calculated based on an elapsed duration of time since a customer transaction was completed within the first predetermined distance from the customer address.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for using haptic vibration for inter-device communication. In one implementation, a system for inter-device communication using haptic vibration may include at least one force gauge configured to measure displacements caused by an external device in contact with the at least one force gauge; at least one memory storing instructions; and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to: receive an identifier associated with a user; retrieve a pattern associated with the received identifier; receive, from the at least one force gauge, one or more measurements over a period of time; assess a degree of difference between the received one or more measurements and the retrieved pattern; and, when the degree of difference is below a threshold, authenticate the user.

Abstract: A user may view a device with augmented reality glasses which may have a camera that views and collects data on the screen of the user device. When the user desires to access an account for which multifactor authentication is required, a one-time password may be sent to the user. The glasses may recognize the one-time password and determine if the one-time password originated from the user device. If the glasses verify that the one-time password originated from the user based on context of the user device display or the geographic locations of the devices, then the glasses will send the password to the service associated with the one-time password. The glasses may send the password back to the user device, send it to an intermediate server, or send it directly to the server associated with the service that provided the one-time password.

Abstract: A device may receive a request from a first user device to access a protected device. The device may verify a user identity of a user of the first device based on user credentials and determine that an authentication code is needed to authenticate the request to access the protected device. The device may dynamically generate multiple codes and transmit the multiple codes to a second user device associated with the user identity of the user of the first device. A first code, of the multiple codes, may correspond to a correct authentication code needed to authenticate the request to access the protected device. The device may transmit a message including an instruction for identifying the correct authentication code from among the multiple codes, receive a second code from the first device, compare the second code and the first code, and selectively authenticate the request to access the protected device.

Abstract: A device may receive customer data, and store the customer data in a secure memory device of the device. The device may implement a backup mode in which the device utilizes the customer data to authorize requests based on determining that the device lacks a network connection. The device may receive, when the device is in the backup mode, a request for currency that includes authentication information. The device, while in the backup mode, may authorize the request for currency based on comparing the authentication information and the customer data. The device may dispense currency based on a result of comparing the authentication information and the customer data. The device may store transaction data associated with dispensing of the currency to permit the transaction data to be transmitted when the network connection is restored.

Abstract: A transaction card construction and computer-implemented methods for a transaction card are described. The transaction card has vector-formatted visible information applied by a laser machining system. In some embodiments, systems and methods are disclosed for enabling the sourcing of visible information using a scalable vector format The systems and methods may receive a request to add visible information to a transaction card and capture an image of the visible information. The systems and methods may capture data representing the image. The systems and methods may also determine an ambient color saturation of the image. Further, systems and methods may translate the image based on the ambient color saturation of the image. The systems and methods may also map the translated image to a bounding box and convert the mapped image into vector format. In addition, the systems and methods may provide the converted image to a laser machining system.

Abstract: A device may provide, to a user device, task data identifying tasks to be performed, and may receive, from the user device, a selection of a particular task from the tasks to be performed. The device may identify cameras associated with a particular task location, and may receive, from the user device, data identifying a location of the user device. The device may determine that the location of the user device matches the particular task location, and may receive, from the user device, task image data identifying images of the particular task location. The device may access, from the cameras, camera data identifying images of the particular task location, and may process the task image data and the camera data, with a machine learning model, to determine performance data associated with performance of the particular task. The device may perform one or more actions based on the performance data.

Abstract: A first device may receive a request to establish a replication session between a second device and a third device, where the replication session is associated with replicating user interactions with a user interface of an application across a first instance and a second instance of the application. The first device may receive, after receiving the request, information identifying a set of interactions by a user of the second device with a first user interface provided for display by the first instance. The first device may determine, from the information, a set of instructions related to causing an indication for the set of interactions to be provided for display on a second user interface provided for display for the second instance based on the information being received from the second device. Abstract: A device receives first transaction information associated with a first transaction, and a first transaction account utilized for the first transaction and associated with a first financial institution. The device determines, based on a fraud model, that the first transaction is to be denied due to potential fraud associated with the first transaction account and receives second transaction information associated with a second transaction, and a second transaction account utilized for the second transaction and associated with a second financial institution. The device processes the first transaction information and the second transaction information, with a matching model, to determine whether the first transaction information matches the second transaction information and determines that the first transaction was incorrectly denied when the first transaction information matches the second transaction information within a predetermined threshold.
