  • Publication number: 20170290345
Abstract: An on-demand robotic food assembly line can include one or more conveyors and one or more robots, operable to assemble food items in response to received orders for food items, and one or more ovens operable to, for example, partially cook assembled food items. The on-demand robotic food assembly line can optionally package the assembled and partially cooked food items in packaging, and optionally load the packaged partially cooked food items into portable cooking units (e.g., ovens) that are optionally loaded into racks that are, in turn, optionally loaded into delivery vehicles, where the food items are individually cooked under controlled conditions while en route to consumer destinations, such the cooking of each food item is completed just prior to arrival at the consumer destination location. A dynamic fulfillment queue for control of assembly is maintained based at least in part on estimated transit time for orders.

  • Publication number: 20170064372
Abstract: Aspects of the invention may involve systems and methods. A method for providing video and mixed media content to a user device may include receiving content data from a content source and broadcasting the state of the content source. The content data may be split into audio data and visual data. Snapshots of the visual data over a length of time may be extracted. The plurality of snapshots and the audio data may be transformed into text strings and packaged into a data object. In response to a request from a user device, the data object and browser executable instructions may be sent to the user device. The instructions may transform the text into sound and into image snapshots to be consecutively displayed in a browser, where the displayed snapshots is synchronized with the sound, and other media content is displayed in the browser.

  • Patent number: 8064630
Abstract: A speaker apparatus has a container holding a volume of ferrofluid, a permanent magnet suspended in the ferrofluid, and a magnetic excitation apparatus proximate the container. Operation of the excitation apparatus causes movement of the permanent magnet, translated through the ferrofluid to walls of the container, which walls act as resonators creating sound waves in surrounding medium. Audio production is accomplished placing a ferrofluid and a permanent magnet in a container, placing an excitation apparatus in proximity of the permanent magnet, and driving the excitation apparatus to cause movement of the permanent magnet translated through the ferrofluid to walls of the container, which walls act as resonators creating sound waves in surrounding medium.
