  • Publication number: 20170169032
Abstract: An example embodiment of the present techniques extracts sequences of features from each article of a plurality of articles. A background language model may be generated based on the sequences of features extracted from the plurality of articles and a new model can be generated based on sequences of features from a set of selected articles. A comparison between the new language model and language models generated for remaining articles may be performed to generate a distance score for each of the remaining articles. An article may be added to the set of selected articles based on distance score. Content may be returned based on the set of selected articles.

  • Publication number: 20170139889
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to digital note manipulation. In this manner, the embodiments disclosed herein enable management of a set of notes for a user, where the set of notes include a note generated for the user and a shared note generated for a set of users including the user. The shared note for the set of users may also be managed. For example, responsive to the user providing an edit to the shared note, a second note may be generated for the user, where the second note comprises the shared note and the edit provided by the user.

  • Publication number: 20170140002
Abstract: Examples relate to dataset browsing using additive filters. In some examples, metadata associated with a user-related dataset is processed to obtain explicit information that describes attributes for each data record in the user-related dataset. Further, a semantic analysis of content of the user-related dataset is performed to identify topics. At this stage, the explicit information and the topics are used to generate contextual cues. A dataset display for the user-related dataset is displayed, where the dataset display is empty prior to selection of any of the contextual cues. In response to a selection of a first cue, a dataset display of the user-related dataset is updated to show data records that are associated with the first cue. In response to a selection of a second cue, the dataset display is updated to show data records that are associated with the first cue and the second cue.

  • Publication number: 20170124039
Abstract: In one implementation, a system for digital note creation includes an initiation engine to receive a request to generate a digital note. In addition, the system includes a content engine to determine content from a digital document that is displayed at a time when the request is received, wherein the content from the digital document is extracted to the digital note. In addition, the system includes a data engine to receive data to be included in a digital note that corresponds to the content that is displayed. In addition, the system includes a link engine to create a link between the content that is displayed and the digital note.

  • Publication number: 20170116333
Abstract: Example implementations relate to automatic association of content from sources. For example, a computing device may include a processor. The processor may identify a content item being related to a particular source of a plurality of sources accessible by the computing device, where each source of the plurality of sources is independent from other sources in the plurality of sources. The content item is sent to a server managing relationships between content from the plurality of sources, where the server automatically associates the content item with other relevant content items from the plurality of sources. Information identifying the other relevant content items is received from the server. The content item is displayed with the other relevant content items in response to receiving the information.

  • Publication number: 20160342953
Abstract: Systems and methods associated with calendar scheduling are disclosed. One example method includes generating a first calendar event based on an input received from a user. The method also includes assigning a priority to the first calendar event. The method also includes selecting a second calendar event to reschedule based on a priority of the second calendar event and the priority of the first calendar event. The method also includes scheduling the first calendar event in a time slot at least partially overlapping a time slot previously associated with the second calendar event. The method also includes modifying the priority of the first calendar event over time to deter rescheduling of the first calendar event.
