Publication number: 20240137291Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for work from home solutions according to various embodiments of the invention. These solutions accurately diagnose connectivity issue locations and severity from any, some, or all points in a network framework. Embodiments of these solutions may also use artificial intelligence and machine learning to process customer quality-of-experience (QoE) feedback and other relevant indicators. The solutions may improve network connectivity based on these measurements and processes.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 29, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Applicant: ASSIA SPE, LLCInventors: John M. Patent number: 11966793Abstract: Systems and methods to extend an interactive experience across multiple platforms are presented herein. The interactive experience may take place in an interactive space. The interactive space as experienced by a user of a host device (e.g., headset) may be extended to one or more mobile computing platforms. The host device may present views of virtual content perceived to be present within the real world. A given mobile computing platform may be positioned at or near the host device. The mobile computing platform may take images/video of the user of the host device. The mobile computing platform may superimpose views of the virtual content onto the images/video from the perspective of the mobile computing platform. The virtual content presented at the mobile computing platform may be perceived to be in the real world.Type: GrantFiled: October 18, 2017Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: Campfire 3D, Inc.Inventors: Paulo Jansen, Benjamin Lucas, Forest Rouse, Mayan Shay May-Raz, Joshua Hernandez

Patent number: 11104773Abstract: Fiber-reinforced polymer composites possessing improved damping ability are provided. In one aspect, the fibers provide the composite with a relatively high dynamic modulus over a broad range of frequencies for a given temperature. In another aspect, the polymer may comprise a viscoelastic polymer possessing a relatively high loss factor for a given frequency and temperature. The polymer may be further tailored to control the center frequency at which the maximum loss factor of the polymer is achieved. The composite so formed exhibits a relatively small reduction in loss factor with significant increase in dynamic modulus over a broad range of frequencies for a given temperature. As a result, a structure damped by the composite exhibits a relatively high, constant loss factor as compared to conventional damping materials. Thus, embodiments of the disclosed composites dissipate significantly more energy during each vibration cycle than conventional damping materials.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 2012Date of Patent: August 31, 2021Assignee: Goodrich CorporationInventors: Craig Cartwright, Joshua Hernandez, Nathan Edward Hornig

Patent number: 10586302Abstract: Systems and methods to generate an environmental record for an interactive space are presented herein. An environmental record may represent a set of local environments and may define archival location compositions for the local environments. An archival location composition for a local environment may define aspects of the local environment associated with one or more objects and/or surfaces previously determined to be present in the local environment. A headset worn by a user in the local environment may generate a current location composition based on output signals from sensors included in the headset. The archival and current location compositions may be compared to determine updates for the environmental record.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2017Date of Patent: March 10, 2020Assignee: Meta View, Inc.Inventors: Conner Brooks, Joshua Hernandez, Moqian Tian

Patent number: 10565779Abstract: Aspects of the disclosed apparatuses, methods and systems provide elimination of distortion induced by an optical system that reflects light from an image source. An inverse mapping of the distortion is created for the optical system. The display system applies the inverse mapping to an image prior to display to introduce a distortion to the displayed image that is the inverse of the distortion introduced by the optical system. As a result, the distortion in the displayed image is canceled by the distortion of the optical element providing the user with an image that is substantially distortion free.Type: GrantFiled: July 5, 2018Date of Patent: February 18, 2020Assignee: Meta View, Inc.Inventors: Raymond Chun Hing Lo, Joshua Hernandez, Valmiki Rampersad, Agis Mesolongitis, Ali Shahdi

Patent number: 10048361Abstract: An acoustic window for passage of desired acoustic waveforms therethrough is provided. The acoustic window includes at least a pair of structural septa. At least one core layer is sandwiched between the septa and includes a cellular reinforcement and transmission medium encapsulating the cellular reinforcement. The acoustic window may be included on the hull of a surface or submergible vessel, in order to provide a hydrodynamic fairing over sonar or other acoustic equipment.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2015Date of Patent: August 14, 2018Assignee: ROHR, INCInventors: Darren Gregory Finck, Joshua Hernandez

Publication number: 20120047017Abstract: Disclosed is a platform that provides innovative advertising space to businesses by engaging gamers to create viral loops for brands. The platform features unique components including: 1) game developers have real-time control over advertising content and 2) gamers will associate an actual gaming accomplishment with a positive brand interaction (e.g. when a gamer achieves a high score, they will see a message that associates the accomplishment with an advertiser). The platform may be expanded on a global scale through offers of software development kits that allow other game developers to integrate the platform into their own mobile and Web games. Gamers, game developers, and advertisers will be able to track user data produced by the system if each gamer and developer agrees to do so.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 7, 2011Publication date: February 23, 2012Applicant: Tap Me, Inc.Inventors: Joshua Hernandez, William Guschwan, Justin C.
