Patent number: 9334775Abstract: An exhaust treatment system may include gas, reductant and water conduits, a nozzle and a pump. The gas conduit may be in fluid communication with a source of compressed gas and may include a first valve controlling a flow of compressed gas through the gas conduit. The water conduit may be in fluid communication with a water source and may include a second valve controlling a flow of water through the water conduit. The nozzle may be in fluid communication with the gas, reductant and water conduits. The pump may be disposed between the nozzle and the second valve and may be in fluid communication with the reductant and water conduits. The pump may be operable in a first pumping direction to pump reductant from the reductant source to the nozzle and in a second pumping direction to pump reductant away from the nozzle and toward the reductant source.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 2013Date of Patent: May 10, 2016Assignee: Tenneco Automotive Operating Company Inc.Inventors: Anzhou Wu, Joshua Hicks, Padmanabha Reddy Ettireddy, Daniel R. Publication number: 20060259336Abstract: Methods and systems for assessing risks associated with a project. The method includes building a tier 1 library and a tier 2 library. The tier 2 library includes project templates specific to a service/product offering or project type. Building the tier 1 and tier 2 libraries includes identifying project activities associated with a project. The building also includes identifying at least one potential failure associated with each of the project activities, associating project activities that are determined to be generic to all projects with the tier 1 library, and associating project activities that are determined not to be generic to all projects with each of the project templates in the tier 2 library. The method also includes generating a project file from the tier 1 and tier 2 libraries, and calculating a baseline risk score for each of the project activities in the project file.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 16, 2005Publication date: November 16, 2006Applicant: GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANYInventors: Meraj Anas, Joshua Hicks, Saumil Shah, David Witsken, Joseph Barkley

Patent number: 6024244Abstract: A convex shaped apparatus transversed with a flat base at the bottom, sized and shaped to be fixedly attached to the base of a standard container. The apparatus may either be hollow (with the top open) to act together with the standard container to hold the contents or separately fixedly attached to the bottom of the standard container. The weight of the apparatus is sufficient to lower the center of gravity of the combined apparatus and standard container no matter whether the container is full, partially full or empty. The convex shaped surface of the apparatus, above the flat base of the apparatus, insures that the container is unstable when left unattended. In the event that the container fills with liquid such as rain water, it wall tip on its side if a curious child investigates and tries to get in the container. The tipping container allows the liquid to spill out rendering the container harmnless to a child and prevents the drowning of the child.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 1998Date of Patent: February 15, 2000Inventor: Joshua Hicks
