Abstract: A device for delivering medication is presented. The device has a conduit with an upstream end and a downstream end. The downstream end of the conduit delivers the medication. The device has a housing with an open end and an end forming a flat substrate. The housing receives a syringe containing medication and having a plunger. The device also has mechanism for releasing the medication from the syringe and a mechanism for pressurizing the medication. The device has a connector from providing a connection between the syringe and the upstream end of the conduit.

Abstract: A stylet for providing access to an airway of a patient for insertion of an endotracheal tube for intubation is presented. The stylet is a hollow tube with a proximal and a distal end. The proximal end of the stylet has an actuator for, among other things, releasing the stylet when the ETT has been properly situated in the trachea of a patient. The stylet and bougie, if used, is removed prior to the balloon of the ETT being inflated to keep the ETT in the trachea. The stylet also is shaped prior to the insertion into the mouth and throat of the patient. The preformed shape of the stylet is consistent with the pathway to the trachea.

Abstract: A nozzle received by a patient. The nozzle has at least two portions. A first portion that has an upper end and a lower end in which a central aperture extends between the upper and lower ends of the nozzle. The central aperture terminates at the opening of the lower end of the nozzle. A second portion that has two ends, the second end is rounded. There is at least one support arm joining the first and second body portions but holding the second body portion a set distance from the first body portion.

The device also has a valve for releasing the liquid from the vial into the conduit. The valve can be opened and closed by a user of the device. To release the liquid a piston is utilized to exert pressure on the stopper of the vial and the liquid is dispensed through a needle into the conduit.

Abstract: A laryngo-tracheal anesthetic device is provided, said device comprising a malleable conduit with a first end and a second end, wherein the second end is designed to enter a patient, a device for pressurizing anesthetic, wherein the device is adapted to receive a cartridge of anesthetic, a substrate actuated by a finger of a user for releasing anesthetic from the reservoir into the malleable tube; and a nozzle at the second end of the malleable tube.
